We are currently looking for ways to improve the user experience on the forum.

We would like to explore all aspects of the forum, including look and feel and how to enhance the user experience on the forum.

Please provide any feedback on how we can improve:

It’s not the members that have sent this forum downhill lately, it’s the company! It used to be a great place to come for support and advice, now it’s a shambles! Think your gonna need a miracle MYA mod to get it back on it’s feet again…the trust has gone! Just giving my opinion, no offence intended!

I will second that flossy but this thread will possibly get deleted.

Probably Hun! It’s not down to the members to sort the forum out…it’s MYA that have caused it to mess up with their double standards and hypocrisy x

I agree as well i don’t think it is that well managed

I personally dont have any issues with the forum or mya. As my experience has been top notch.

MYA Mod is always on the ball with messaging girls and getting PC’s/Nurses to contact them.

I just try and keep myself to myself on here and try to help girls if i can.

I cant speak for everyone though

Is this serious mya mod? The forum has only gone down hill because of poor moderating and misleading info. I never knew there was a male mod and frankly im disgusted we wernt warned about this. Why does the mod send friend requests? Cos its weird if its a dude. You let absoloute morons get away with digusting launguage and offensive threads yet you delete ones that mention rival companies? You said before that you encouraged this as mya could hold their own?

People have said for months now this forum is running slow yet nothings been done? Im sure you will just delete this thread too

Maybe stop deleting posts just because YOU don’t like them….people have Always been able to post about other companies and surgeons who don’t work for MYA and you have never had a problem until recently….why all of a sudden are you deleting these girls posts when they are looking for advice about a particular surgeon just because he/she don’t work for MYA? There is nothing in the forum guidelines that states you can’t mention other companies/surgeons

If you all of a sudden gonna apply a rule to the forum, make sure it’s used across the board. It appears some company’s can be mentioned and others can’t. Better still… Scrap the stupid rule. We are all here for the same reason. If someone had chose to go with another company then so what. They may have very good reasons for not wanting to use MYA.

The forum is also sooo slow it may as well go backwards. It takes about five minutes for my post to appear. If I press post more than once I get a message saying slow down. Haha. Nooo. U need to speed it up!!

I would like to know the answer to this too? Is there a male MOD called Shree??????

Also MYA lok at the forum now compared to 12 months ago:

1. I have never seem so much complaints bout the service being offered and aftercare and the way patients are now treated in hosps. How disgusting having in your file copies of things you have posted on the forum – where does it say in the privacy policy/ forum guidlines that what is posted or commented by you on the forum will be placed in your file???????

2. Its always MOD that has to get involved to get the girls sorted cause the PC’s and the clinic never bother to call back? Not a forum issue a MYA issue.

3. The way ppl are treated – given recent circumstances u have exposed someones identity…..

4. There is so much negativity.

In my opinion if MYA get the service right that they offer to its customers then the forum wud be a better place.

Go back to basics and look at your own processes and procedures, do end to end process reviews from the initial contact stage right through to aftercare…. its not rocket science and most companies do this or get a consultant in to do this.

Anyway rant over…this forum will never get back to where it was a year ago if you cant get your basic ethics, processes and own house in order.

I’d like to add some positive feedback… Girls I understand ur frustration but Mayb try being constructive with ur feedback as this thread is clearly here because they want improve things.. Pointing fingers to say who’s fault it is won’t help anyone..

For me this forum has been an excellent team search tool and hav some amazing support from the girls on here and good to see mya mod helping girls out who hav problems with there pc..

I agree I’m not sure I like the thought of a male moderator although I can see how a male mod Mayb us full as this forum is for men as well as women for a wide variety of procedures.. So possibly limit which moderator assists with which forum breast nose etc..

Would b good do have a more friendly mobile version as I always access via my iPhone.. Also as with the key post mid puts at the too would b usefull to hav for key issues.. Eg.. Post op bras… Boobie bibleEtc.. So we don’t have to bump the posts bk up.. One more thing clearly separate breast surgery from other forum e.g nose etc.. Although its there it’s not clear wen starting a new thread..

Last point lol.. I agree that it is good to have competition so would b good to allow discussion of other company experiences aswell..

Oh I forgot to add One negative post I think it is so wrong posts r put into our files.. I understand this is a marketing tool for mya but some privacy should b allowed.. This seems sneaky x

Amanda – you have been on the forum 6weeks – some gals have been here over a yr – for me it has been 14 months… it was never sneaky and underhanded like it is now! Not having a go at u hun x

Anyway,

– it would be great to see in an easier way if you put pics, public, private or friends only. Sometimes after uploading I am scared I pressed the wrong button and have to check again.

– website speed in general

– maybe a realseal for members. So girls could have the option to open pics for friends with realseal. You could get the realseal by sending a pic with a password written on a paper that the moderator send to the person before

– a form that every girl can fill out with information (over/under, cc, profile, date, etc) that will always appear next to her pic. Would make it easier to go through pics and not always going back to remember what implants she got.

– would be great if messages with the same member always appear in the same window. Kinda like a history, even if you don’t go back to the old message to reply and only hit 1 on 1 message, if that makes sense?

Lloyds is actually the patients booking persdon not the MOD. Shame how MYA staff have to make FAKE accounts – well Lloyds I think u shud condentrate on taking you patient bookings rather than being on the forum adding friends and looking at boobs… surely you cant b that bored that you have no bookings to take!!!

Fron what I have been told recently one of the mods is a man. Apparently he is the ‘head mod’. A forum member spoke to him a few months ago when she was in the complaints process. From what I remember she rang the main switch and asked for the mod n she spoke to HIM. X

i think a facebook approach would be good, we should be able to ‘like’ someones posts, a pop up should be generated when someone has commented on our own posts or conversations we have entered into – so that we dont have to keep going back and checking this is very time consuming and sometimes results in vital information & support being missed or delayed.

i think we should be able to search under our own names or on our own profile for previous history posts for the reason mentioned above.

if a post is to be ‘closed’ then mya mod should justify why that post has been closed, as this just leads to more bad feeling and tension on the forum.

sending 1:1 messages should be a little easier as mine always say error.

this forum has been great for me both pre op & post op, but at the moment there is so much bad feeling and dishonesty, through posts being deleted, closed, male mya mod etc. if i was to join mya now as a pre op patient reading this forum i would most certainly be thinking about going to a rival company.

you have some fantastic MOS and surgeons that certain clinics & PC are letting MYA & patients down.

it is very worrying to think that the general feeling at the moment about the forum is that it is unsafe enviroment for people to speak out & talk about personal experiences with MOS, Clinics, surgeons, to read that some patients posts may be used against them for insurance reasons, put into personal files, or PC’s making personal contact to confront what has been written concerns me alot. This forum has been created to help & support patients about the good bad & ugly. if MYA, MOS & PC wants positive things written about them then make sure every step of the way that patients are given 110% excellent service, and learn from any negative comments. honesty is the best way to redeem yourself and this post is a good step forward.

i love MYA, Mr Chantarasak and the bristol clinic PC Krystina. my experience has been a very positive one and it is sad to read that this is not the same across the board with all patients. i do hope MYA MOD can get this forum back to where it was months ago.

MYA mod why close the lloyds25 thread? You said that this person does not work for MYA but as someone stated earlier he works in patient bookings….why all the lies?

I’m fed up of this . I have my re op tomorrow and I’m freaking out! Don’t even feel as though I can come on here for reassurance as everyone is so caught up in all this Crap!! I’m not bothering with this forum anymore as now is the time I really need it and the forum is just full of negativity!
