jus had nose job 6th march

mr gonschior paid 4300 highgate hospital closed surgery all i can say is geting my eyebrows dne is mre painfull than this. iv had nooooo pain! i had the bump removed. ne1 hu is thinkin to have this done shudnt evn have no doubts i forget i evn hav the cast on and its oni been 3 days!i did hae bit of swelling n bruising but that was nothing jus rememer vaseline for ur lips bcus they will dry up from breathing thru ur mouth straws and soothers for dry throat.also cottons balls to wet and wipe ur face with. cnt wait to c wa it looks like on 18th march. this is the easiest thing ever n i had good feelin bou my surgeon from the moment i met him. dno if this was ne help!

hospital felt like a hotel they do take good care of u so does mya wit their fne calls and txts. i also had to quit smokin its been 6weeks so i think that helped alot cnt wait to start agn dow! i went to see mr gonschior in bham at start of feb booked it for march 6th.had to be there for 11 my op was at 6pm so i was starving! dey knoked me out and i woke up bou 7.15 had blurry vision and sore throat for bou 2mins den i was rolled bk into the room wer i had my dinner waiting for me. wen i gt outa bed i had major sneeze attack so my eyes started swellin up bt went bk to bed.nurse cmes to check blood pressure. den next day they tek out splint and tube dat was in ur arm from when they knoked u out. then from then onwards its been a walk in the park. surgeon sees u b4 op after op and nxt day. no discomfort no pain.

did meet anva surgeon but u jus no wen they are the person u wnt near u wit a knife! and u pay4 dat! bt do all ur research first i did n watched all you tube vids n it calmed me down cus i nu wa to expect bt sum ppl myt b put off. did feel sik first but den i felt better. i cnt yawn rli wnt2bt cnt flare my nose out! i hope evryone has a good of experience as i did.

I’ve got a boob op and nose reshape booked for 14th may, always read so much on here about ba ops but not really about noses! Just wondering when u first met ur surgeon and spoke about what u wanted did u see him again before the day? im just worried he isn’t going to know exactly how i want it! i dont have a prominent bump but theres a slight bump but i just want it made smaller in general and more dainty if u get me. also when they took the splint out was it really painful?!

Hi. I am meeting with Mr Gonschior in a couple of weeks in Birmingham, and if everything goes well, will be booking in for surgery, and will have that in London. What is he like? I have been told he is one of MYA’s best surgeons, when it comes to rhinoplasty. Im so scared that the surgery is going to change my features, face on. It seems like you both had, and will be having closed rhinoplasty? Whereas i will be having open, as i want the tip of my nose reduced also.

Oh is he highly recommended? I’ve got Mr Fallahdar, have read up on him and he seems rather good so hopefully the results will be the same! does Mr Gonschoir only work in Birmingham as i’m having mine done in London. Wonder is he does BA…. hmmm…. x

hi sarahjay yeh he came to see me before op and after op and the day after! he lets u bring in a pic of ur nose to the surgery day and u cn draw on pic to show him how u wnt it to look like so wens hes operating he can c ur pic but he will go tru exactly wa u want n what will suit ur face.no the splint doesnt not hurt at all jus 2 seconds of them pulling out feels wierd bt no way near painfull! mr gonschior works all over uk and no he doesnt do boob jobs he only deals with the face hes done over 750 nose jobs

pretthatemachine – hi hes really good i done research on him before i met him and when i started to talk to him i nu i wanted him to do it hes realistic no false promises and i felt comfortable talkin to him. yh he is one of the best as hes a maxi facial specialist so he oni does the face surgeries. yh i had closed i did think i was gna av open but wit closed his view of inside my nose is more restricted but open will take longer to heal so either way theres not one better than the other. i had some cartillage teken off from either side of my nose after the hump removal because it was tip heavy.

Hiya Manj, i’ve recently had a boob job was really scared to have surgery, but after the whole experience with MYA i really am so much more now at ease now wiv havin surgery. tryna upload pics but its nt happening!? but thanks khanni jus cant wait now to see what it looks like 1 week to go was gna av it off on 15th but mr gonschior told me to leave it on for few more days so goin on 18th now. the 6th march seems so long gone now time goes fast then itll take 3 months to heal 70% and 1year to heal 100%. jus cleaned around nose with cotton bud.

is anybody worried about negative comments after op? ppl hu try pick on other ppl weakness or ppl talkin about you?

Can I just ask how long did you have to wait for? I’m seeing the surgeon (Mr Gonschior) on the 29th March and would like the surgery asap (hopefully before my holiday in May). I know you have to have splint on for 10 days too. I’m also worried about remarks from people after. Haven’t told my friends because I know they’ll say I don’t need it done and shouldn’t bother, but obviously its my choice and I believe if you’re not happy, why not change it to boost your confidence. Wonder if they’ll notice??

I went 2nd feb to see surgeon then had op for 6th march. Cast on for 12 days. I had to convince my fam and it was better to hav the support there. If u wna do it its up to u I had all that 2 abt u dnt need to do it bt I had a big bump so y shud I go fru my life with it! Wen I dnt av2. Jus the sound of surgery meks ppl go no dnt do it bt its rli nt big deal. I’m expecting a few remarks too bt I waited long enuf dat I’m jus happy I dne it! I feel a lot better now dat iv dne it the hardest thing for me now I jus seeing it! Surgery was easy the hard parts yet to come!

Jus had the plaster n dat off today omg my nose is straigter than a ruler!I love it.I cried wen I sin it cus its emotional lol bt cnt believe it will upload pic when swellin goes dwn n it needs a good clean! Cnt believe its off and iv sin the end result. Absolutly love the surgeon didn’t no he’s dne steph frm hollyoaks nose and amy frm only ways essex (herd that nt researched dat) He’s a miricale worker. Awww Congrats manj I’m glad you like it hunni, the swelling will go slowly and they say you don’t see the end result until 1 year post op so just think how much better it’s going to get! x

OMG it looks gorgeous!! So cute what’s it looking like from the front? Remember the swelling will linger for a few months so you have to be patient. Easier said than done I know. It’s a big change and it’s your face so it’ll take some getting use to but honestly Hunn, it looks fab x

Was bit uncertain first because it was new bt as the swellings goin down n my fam n friends r like OMG wen they c me I’m feelin wayyy better abt it and plus u lot r all mekin me feel good too thanks. I av issues wen I fink everyones lying to me! But I’m starting to c the change n hate my old nose!!

I forgot I evn had the cast on sometimes! First 2/3 days its bit stuffy then u get used to it then u forget bou it and den u miss it lol! Under ur nose ull hav 2keep bandage ting on to catch the blood and u av2spray this ting up ur nose (bad description I no!) Then wen its clear u can leave it off and jus hav plaster and cast on nose. I cleaned my nose wit cotton buds n warm water n cleaned my face wit cotton balls. N I also slept on my side bcus I cnt sleep how they tell u! First few days u hav to breath tru mouth wen sleepin so have soothers and water and straw at ur side. When cast finally cmes off nose will b dry n flaky mine still is n its bin5days the cast bin off! 2weeks go rllli quik I bougth dvds and watched them all day long. Wen cast was on 4sum reason I went off hot drinks and was always hot..wierd! They giv u antibiotics n paracetomal n one for infections I didn’t rli tek them.

Also sneeze tru mouth, I had a sneeze attack at hospital n bit blood come out my tear duct! Nufin to wri bou oni a dot. U cnt yawm cus wen u do u flare ur nose bcus the cast glued on ur nose so as I was yawning I stretched it out! Also it will be bit itchy bcus wen u have it on for so long its abit errr.n ma pics r friends only so if u send me a request ill add u n u can c wa it looks like!

R u seeing the surgeon cus when I fned I asked to c him bcus I already went for consultation 2years ago also they giv u d dates hes operating on n u cn reserve ur day by putin dwn a deposit and u have a 7 day cooling off period if u change ur mind.I chose the first available date! Hope it goes well 4u

One side of my nostrils gne a lot mre down than the other hopefuly the ova side will go down too and I’m hoping its nt gna b permant!! Still a lot of swelling ma nose feels rock hard. Was readin posts of BAs n how everyones bin getin discounts and stuff wen I wernt offered nefing!! Transform were 300 pound cheaper but I wudn av gne wit them bt still bit gutted!! Hoping ma nose will shrink abit after swellings gne! Dno y I feel sad today lol! Bt nways tony how did u get on at mya today?

Don’t worry Hunn it’s just the swelling settling, your nostrils will even out. Try an avoid foods rich in sodium/salt and make sure you drink plenty of water to remain hydrated. This will help the swelling. Check out ‘crunchtoes’ videos on YouTube she documents her rhinoplasty that’ll probably give you peace of mind. Mind you, you only had a closed rhinopasty? so I’m guessing you didn’t want the tip of your nose altered? The girl in the vids had everything altered! xx

Lol yh thanks I will nah I didn’t wna change dramaticly bt the side profile I love bt the front is getin me down cus of the skin btween nostrils and its swollen on one side more so I’m jus hopin wen the swellings gne itl b ok. Cus if u look at ma b4 pic and after of the front u can c the skin btween nostril cmes dwn mre. Myb I’m jus anaylisin wayyyy in2 it!! Jus bit woried.xx

Ive met with Dr Gonschior, and have booked my op date for June, a week after my exams finish, eek! Im so excited, but understandably really nervous too. How did you sleep? Hi iv accepted, and first few days was hard cus u av2breathe fru mouth bt once you take off the bandge frm under ur nose off n clean out dry blood itl b fyn I slept on my side after! D cast on nose is hard so u wnt squash it!! He’s rli good so ull b fyn d oni fing I’m worried abt is swelling which seems to be goin mre on one side than the other!! Fingers crossed it looks better soon, good luck 4 ur op what’s u havin done?x

Update – post op appionment 19 th april will b 6week. Swellings evening out ma nostril r now huuuge lol feelin in nose slowly cmin bk sense of smel weak n big clump of stitching gne! Yay.
