jus had nose job 6th march

How does your nose look now? I wouldn’t worry, of course the swelling will go down Its just takes time. Did you look at Crunchtoes blog on Youtube? I found her to be really helpful. I am having open rhinoplasty. Dr.Gonschior will be shaving my bump, taking cartilage away from the tip to reduce the size, and he is also going to take a little cartilage on either side of the tip. I keep getting waves of excitement, but also feel sick that i could end up looking worse. I think i will feel better after i speak with him again. Its such an emotional process.

Update- swelling gne dwn a lot its evening out bt nostrils are noticebly unsymetrical. I’m nt dat worried abt it now xx

Has anyone got any knowledge or advice on the financial process of Rhinoplasty? I’m currently at Uni and am worried that without the finance option I won’t be able to have the procedure. Help would be great

I’m sure mya do finance jus fne them and ask they will help u. Also I would like to add this will be my last post it was rli good2b on this site n tell my story I no there’s nt many rhino posts on here bt hope this post helps ppl hu r lookin to av it dne. I’m very happy wit my nose I had my ups n downs n shared everything I cud. Good luck to everyone havin ops or considering surgery I would deffo do that all over agen!

im back after few months. im 9 months post op yay

hi everyone i fort id tel you how its gone so far. at times i was unhappy as the swelling was going down unevenly so i was worried but they are now equal! i think my sense of smell is not as good as it used to be and also my breathing. i was at one point thinking the tip of my nose is too big in comparison with my nose but after the swelling went down i don’t feel like that nemore. i feel like a new person ever since the op im glad i had it done. there is a slight bump that i can feel but you wudnt be able to see it cus its tiny so wen i go bk to clinic i will ask but its nothing major bcus it was a closed op so it wud be hard to remove all the bump. i now like my lips bcus they suit the rest of my face with a big nose it jus looked massive but now its in portion. i never told neone i had nose job at the time but now wen i openly talk abt it ppl r curious n amazed! my nose has healed well and i crnt wait until 6th march 2012 so i no then my nose is 100% healed. my experience of nose job was very positive. wen i did av cast removed i did think whoa the tips long and i cud c all glue stuck on my nose and it looked greasy so i was like do i even like it, but in car journey home i just loved it. people thinks it emotion to have a feature changed on ur face and stuff and thinking about ur features changing is abit scary but i see it as an improvement on what i had so so if it looks better why not? especially as iv always wanted it. sometimes im finkin id love to have boob job or lipo then other times im like no i wanted the nose job so i shud be happy now that’s it. but i am happy now so ne future ops wud av to be very carefully considered! how has everyone else experience been?

my experience has been great so far, alreayd love my nose and i still have the cast on! i had a deviated septum and a bump and the tip was too long for my liking, so dr G gave me a septorhinoplasty. even if the cast came off and my nose never changed id be so happy i think from what i see! anything without that bump is better! but its even better to know my nose will get a lot smaller as swelling goes when did you notice most of the swelling had gone?

do you find you act more confident etc? do peopel react differently now to you bc of it etc?

it did take a while for swelling to go especially bcus it went down on one side first lol! id say few months oni now after 9months i can say its gone.i was told i have a deviated septum but never had it fixed which i regret! but my nose is soo much smaller than b4 its not too small its jus right for my features. im much more happier for ppl to sit next to me now cus they wnt c this big hump lol. nt many ppl noticed i had nose job lol but my immediate family thinks it looks better it dai tek them long to get used to it. my dad thinks my lips looked different now after the nose job but i dnt fink they do. i do feel more confident now. and wen c ppl i went school with hu used to kuss my nose im jus like HA! not jus cus of my nose but cus how i feel after the nose job.
