From what I have seen on here surgeons either use general anaesthetic or twilight sedation. I’m with Dr Traynor and I think he used general. X

Eee i could of sworn when i had my consultaion they asked me if i wanted local or general.. im abit confused now lol. I thought it was abit odd to b able to hav local because i would never of thought they would do that when havin a procedure, but when i said i would panic if i was awake when i was havin it she said it was best that i just had general…i think it might b best if i do just get put to sleep either way. Otherwise it would b the longest 40 minutes of my life lol. Thanks girls x

Sorry that was meant to say I think he USES general lol damn ipad correcting me!

I was never asked or told tbh. I’m just going with what people on here have had with him and also the nurse and my PC mentioned it when I said the only thing I am nervous about is the canular.

Contact your PC and ask her to confirm what he uses.

    Would u recommend it fiona?
I think im goin for 275cc danielle. Im only a size 6 so didnt want anythin too big incase i topple over haha. I told my PC i only wanted to be a C orD cup and the first size she gave me was 350cc. It didnt look right on me but i think its cos im not used to seein anythin there haha. I asked what size they would make me anx she said E cup. I says that was too big so i tried 300cc and i decided on those but the more i think bout it i think im goin to go smaller. Iv got my pre op on monday so goin to ask to try the 250 or 275. I think id feel more comfortable with them.
    What size u gettin? X

I’ve gone for 400cc I’m a size 10/12 so they would be suitable for my frame…going to try and lose a little weight after I’ve had them done though.

    I think a C or a D cup sounds about right for a size 6 frame.

I know what you mean about them not being used to seeing anything there I felt the same when trying sizes on lol

Hiya Melanie, I had local anaesthetic with sedation on Friday and literally don’t remember a thing about the op. Didn’t feel anything so can’t have been too awake! I chose local so I could be in and out in the same day, I was in the hospital 4 hours total. I was very nervous about having local with sedation but honestly it’s totally fine 🙂 nothing to be worried about xo
