My story! – 230cc overs with Mr Adamo – 13/04/11

My stats: 32A pre-op. 5ft2. 6 stone 10. Dress size 4. Wanting to be a 32C.

Implant size: 230cc overs

So I arrived at the Highgate hospital about two hours early but was admitted straight away. A nurse came in shortly after and did all the paperwork, took my weight & height, and gave me the clothes to change in to (seriously sexy gown, knickers & stockings, haha).

I then had a long wait of about six hours until I actually went down to theatre. During that time a couple of nurses kept popping in and out to see me and keep me updated, and the anaesthetist came to see me aswell.

Mr Adamo then came to see me about an hour before I went down, where he talked me through everything, confirmed the implant size, took photos, and drew on me. He answered any last minute questions I had and said that he would see me in an hour.

One hour later the nurse came to get me. I walked down to theatre and immediately got on the operating table. This is where the nerves kicked in, and I started to panic. A tip girls; don’t look around the theatre. Just get on the table and lie down and don’t think about it.

Mr Adamo could see I was freaking out and he calmed me down by holding my hand and telling me that the hard part was over, I could just go to sleep now!

I was then given a gas mask and I don’t even remember being given the anaesthetic injection, I was out like a light. The next thing I know, I’m waking up in recovery with a nurse and Mr Adamo by my bedside. At this point I felt no pain at all, just felt very tired and woozy and a bit sick. I was then wheeled back to my room. I started to feel some discomfort but still no pain. It was about 8pm by this time so I just laid in my bed all night watching telly as I couldn’t sleep a wink. The night nurse popped in every now and again to check I was okay, and take my blood pressure.

The next morning the nurse came to see me and check how I was doing, and then Mr Adamo came in to discharge me and to check my boobs. He said everything went well and they are looking very good! I will see him again in six weeks time at the clinic.

I’m now back at home and have been feeling pain, but it’s not unbearable. I’m so happy with the size I chose and can’t wait to see them once they settle!

All the staff at Highgate were amazing, Mr Adamo is an absolute star and I love him for calming me down in theatre, and makig me feel reassured.

I can’t recommend him and MYA enough

hey aoife – thanks so much for posting ur story – im having 300cc overs on 4th may with adamo – met him for the first time 2 weeks ago, and thought he was lovely – answered all my questions (that i remembered 2 ask!)

i want to go from a 32b to a large c cup – and he said i have enough breast tissue for overs, so i trust he’s decision!

do u mind me adding u so i can have a peek at ur pics when there up?? would love 2 see what 230 overs look like – cant be far off 300 xx

Hi katlouise01… im would say there can be quite a difference between 230 to 300cc… I have been really suprised just how big some girls have gone just with 230/260….have you seen poppy08 pics?? she is now wearing 34c from 34aa with 260unders…xx

hi riggers…. oh really, she went from 34aa to 34c from havin 260 unders? bimey i wouldnt have thought that…. i def dont wanna go too big – adamo said 300 overs would give me a large c / small d…. hmmmm…. will def try some smaller sizes when i next see him, maybe 280cc…

Mr Adamo told me that he could fit 300’s but they would look very fake on me! I’m tiny so the 230’s even look quite big on me. It all depends on your body.

There is quite a difference between the two. Did you have a look at the implants at your consultation?

Mr Adamo has very good judgement though, and I’m so glad I went with what he suggested. He will definitely give you what you want

I know, I can’t believe how big they look with only 230cc! I’m not sure what size they’ll end up, I’m hoping a C cup. Can’t wait to see how they change

Deciding between 260 and 300 aren’t you? You’ve still got a few days to decide, just go with your gut instinct, that’s what I did

I’d go with that then. Have they ordered both sizes for you for the day? You could always ask the surgeon to choose for you if you wanted.

Yes they have ordered both… but honestly Im sooo flat… Im gonna put some pre op pics up in a bit god help me so people may be able to help me decide too??? yeah a friend of mine said why dont I just ask him to decide when im on the table & he opens them up what size he reckons would fit best.. xx

Ah that’s a good idea, ask the girls on here to help you decide. I know how you feel though, I was driving myself crazy trying to decide which size.

Aoifex – wow they look wicked hun – even after just one day! – cant believe they are 230cc – going by ur pics im thinking maybe 300cc will be too big for me now, to take me from a 32b – to large C cup…. hmmm…. might ask to try on 280cc when i see Dr Adamo next

Heyy I finally seen the surgeon. He recommend 260-300 overs I’ve order the two in. All booked girls I’m so excited!

Thanks katlouise! 300 might be a good size for you, it all depends on your body. But try on different sized implants and see what you like best

I can sort of feel the implant on the outer side of the boobs, like I can feel where the implant starts. If that makes sense. I can’t feel anything around the top or cleavage area though.

Hi, Ive sent a friendship request as I had 300cc with MR Adamo from a small 32B so will be interesting to see size difference as I wear a bigger bra than expected but they don’t look that size if that makes sense.

Louise, I still haven’t tried on a bra, so I’m not sure what size I am. I’ve heard that fake boobs measure bigger than they look so that’s probably why you wear bigger than expected

Yes you do measure bigger than you look, I’m now a 32D/DD depending on the shop!

Mr Adamo is amazing, I’m so glad I went with him and I was OK till I got into theate and he also held my hand and was talking away to me and joking till I was knocked out!

Of course, I don’t have many pics up… Will add some more soon. I will say that I was really small before and had hardly any breast tissue!

Hi aolfex,and louise85. I’m going to have my ba with dr C. I went to john lewis to be measured and it seems like I’m a 32b (I really thought I was an a cup) I just want to be a cup size bigger or maybe slightly bigger) Dr C suggested 280 or 300cc but I’m concerned they might be too big. I hope you don’t mind me adding as you my friends so I can see some pic

aoifex, you’re breasts are gorgeous!!! Congratulations, they look beautiful!! But I saw you’re pre-op photo and you didn’t seem to be a 32a. I’m a 32b and my breasts are smaller than yours were.

I’m so confused regarding to sizes… I’ve seen images of implants which shows women that went from a B to a C cup and many of them used different sizes of implants. I think I’m just going to take a few pictures that show which breasts I like and which I don’t. Then I’ll show them to the doctor and let him decide…

A lot of people have said that about my pre-op breasts, but they were definitely an A cup. I think it’s because my body is so small that they appear bigger.

I was confused about sizes too. The surgeon will be able to tell you what size implant will take you to the cup size you want to be. It is really confusing how the same implant can turn out differently on each person, but it just all depends on your body and breasts

Taking pictures is a good idea, that’s what I did.
