OMG just made a shocking discovery – 7 months post op!!

Flicky just looked at it properly and it’s called an ID card (not sure why I called it warranty card). It’s a tiny card blue in colour and when you open it up it tells you which implants you had. Mine was left on my bedside table after my op and was there when I woke up x

Well if you have different implants,is it possible that others have too,that is unbelievablexxx

Tina I do hope this hasn’t happened to anyone else! But I did wonder what might have happened to the other 2 ‘odd’ implants – prob still sitting in a cupboard somewhere as think 335 and 365 is probably an unusual combination! Thank God! I’ve had a day from hell wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy!

I just hope MYA get back to me today as time is ticking on and I’m getting more emotional and stressed by the minute! x

The nurse who has been ringing me is absolutely lovely (Imogen) and she’s gutted for me you can tell. They sorted me an appointment to see Mr T but I’ve told them I want transport! I will have to take a day off work unpaid as have no hols left and so will already lose a days pay

try take someone with u for support hun dont b fobbed off xx

UPDATE: I have to wait and speak to Lizzie in the morning! Thought there would’ve been someone to sort such urgent matters when she is off.

They want me to see Mr T a week on Monday. I’ve told them I want petrol money up front so as long as they agree to that, I’ll just have to be patient and hope this next week goes quickly

Tracy2010, really scary stuff, i’d be freaking out. I didnt get these stickers or anything at all – only thing i had was the notes on my surgery notes to tell me the size. All i was given at the hospital was a doctors note which was someone elses and my drugs!

Its worrying that these mistakes happen and i cant even cross refence it. After bringing this up at manchester clinic recently, i asked for confirmation of my surgery as i had nothing in wiritng to confirm my surgery – i wanted something for insurance purposes incase something goes wrong in the future. I was given a printed sheet of date of op and surgeon and costings but it still didnt state the sizes. Luckily it does state on teh surgical notes which i havnt got a copy but i did expect to get these warranty cards. The nurse at hopsital said i must of lost them in my room!!! they were not in my room at all!

hope you get this sorted. i’ve added you as wanted to see how you get on and how the problem is resolved. I’m hoping there’s a explanation that means you need surgery.

Hey lovely , so so sorry to hear this!!! In a way you must be slightly relieved, you KNEW there was something wrong with your implants and were constantly being told otherwise by all these ‘professionals’ and others! At least now they and u know u were right and something can be done about it finally! It’s an awful and extremely bad on mya’s part, but u should make the best of this awful situation.. Now u will get the boobs u always wanted

Update: got an appointment at Newcastle clinic a week on Monday as this is my closest clinic. To be honest I’m relieved I don’t have to go to Manchester clinic – never wanna have to go there again! They’ll be a cheque there waiting for me for my petrol costs – had a fight getting this but I wasn’t going to back down! It had better be there and it had better cover my petrol

Hi girls. How do u get the warrante notes. I wasn’t given anything at the hospital except my medication and book on allergan. Would the nurse or my pc have this

The Id card is in the bac of the book. I’ve just checked mine to find the right 1 has 1 sticker over it but the left has a sticker n then another sticker over the top of the 1st sticker. Why wud this be? I can’t peel it off to see wot the sticker underneath is but I can see the barcode through the 1 on top. I can also see its got a different code. Strange…
