PLEASE HELP GIRLS…surgery cancelled again!!

I’ve been reading stories about cancellations I’m travelling to london from nottingham tomorrow, sat next to my bag staring at it now hoping I’ve got everything. When was ur BA meant to be and why was it cancelled? I really feel for you xx

I had a phone call this evening to say he was not operating so they were changing my surgeon and the date again. I would confirm mrs jackson as I don’t know if it’s just an issue with over booking or something but this is my second time and I am gutted…I dont mean that to sound awful but I am gutted to find out so last minute! Thinking really negatively and wondering whether to cancel completely. xx

aw thats horrible for it to happen twice!! how long did you wait for your date again after the first one was cancelled? did they give the same reason?x

No hun, I havint had my op yet. I just keep reading stories about girls getting their ops canceled all the time. I’ve also been speaking to a few girls About their experiance with mya, and they aren’t good to be honest xx

Which hospital was ur ba meant to b at? Which surgeon is doing it now? Xx

And another thing, I can see how these stories about the hospitals being overbooked to be true. I wanted my op for early July and the earliest there was, was the 10th but it was only a 3 hour slot but my op is gonna take 3.5 hours. My pc said she would just squeeze me in anyway!! So i took a later date in July instead xx

Oh really? I had a friend who had a really good experience which is why I booked with them, although I don’t seem to be finding the same! It was meant to be Preston. Dr Traynor now, I have no qualms about changing surgeon as I have read good things about him and Mya have been lovely over the phone, although the worry is that this is the third date, and others seem to be still having theirs with mario after mine cancelled? x

to be honest cupcake, when i originally had my consultation my pc had offered me the 28th and 29th…when I called back the week after to book it in said that she thought the 28th and 29th were full but said she would speak to head management as she thought that there may be space on the 29th. She called back to say that 29th was fine and there was availability. Now all this…..who are you booked in with? x

Yer traynor is meant to b Gud, trouble is u havnt had a consultation with him and he may suggest different things.. Gudluck huni really hope it all turns out perfect for u.. I’m booked in at preston with Mario nxt mnth x

Why are they changing your surgeon?? I wouldnt like that. I choose Mr Russo as he was the one I wanted to do my surgery and if this changes I dont think I would want to go ahead!!

Apparently he wasn’t operating, although as others have him, that doesnt seem to be the case. I am worrying though that Mr Traynor will suggest different to Mario xx

Let’s think positive… “what’s meant to b will b” and if a surgeon change it is then I’m sure watever he does will b right for u.. Gudluck huni xx

Mario and Mr Traynor are both great, it’s like being offered Great or Great. They will not be much different in the approach. If you end up with someone different, simply discuss your previous consultation. Tell him your worries, hopes and most importantly what you want out of the procedure.

Most important is DONT worry, you will look back once it’s done and be delighted with the results.

Stace if it’s any consolation I had a similar situation where my BA was cancelled and I asked for a different surgeon…I ended up with Mr. Singh and had something different to what was originally planned and I’m soooo glad I did as I couldn’t imagine my boobies any other way now…as much as its heart breaking now and MYA are seriously in the wrong I believe everything happens for a reason and when you get your new boobies they will be more fabulous than you could have ever hoped for… Good luck Hun xxx

I’d be absolutely furious that they are saying mario ‘isn’t operating’ when he clearly is and also anytime I hear of this happen it’s mario’s patients that have been cancelled! I would make it known that you aren’t happy with the situation at all but at least you have a great surgeon in place of mario. I hope it’s all sorted for you hun X

hellp stace i was booked in for the 5 june in preston with mario russo and about 4 weeks ago they called to say they had to cancel due to hospital staff taking their leave lol and was told i could be booked in for 5 july at london but i told them i cant do that as my fella is in the navy and i have 2 kids too so we have had to work things around his leave etc so it would of been oct for me otherwise when i could go ahead … well after stating this they then said they was a cancelled slot for the 3rd june at highgate still with mario and i have already had my time to go in as well but as my day is getting closer and reading these posts im starting to feel scared im gonna get cancelled again … hope you get it sorted hun and other date . mrsjackson im from notts too trying to highgate for sunday xx

It seems to be all on mario’s! That’s the thing, people have commitments that they work around their surgery date! Really hope that all is fine with yours and mrsjackson’s…..will keep my fingers crossed for you both, sorry for worrying you both! xx

My surgery was supposed to be tomorrow 31.5.12 with Mario at Fitzroy but has been cancelled – totally gutted x

My PC Hollie Green has just called me to cancel my operation with Mario Russo. My op is supposed to be at 9am Saturday 2nd June at Fitzroy and they’re trying to change it to the Sunday and for Mr Adamo to be my surgeon. I know nothing about Mr Adamo and Im so upset and disappointed that they have changed it all!

I think there is definately a problem with Mario and you girls need to be informed what is going on! This is terrible!

This is awful…I had Mario on Monday at Preston. I asked if he would be coming in to see me after the surgery as I had PIP’s removed and replaced and wanted to check it all went ok, I was told he wouldn’t as he was really busy and rushing off to a meeting at the ebd if the day.

The nurses said it all went well though and I’m happy with my results, just thought it was a bit odd. X

omg im getting more and more worried now that im gonna be cancelled again if you emma1991 have just been cancelled for sat its making me feel sick now as my op is sunday with mario i hope it dont get cancelled i feel like ringing my pc up and asking her if my op is gonna get changed as i keep reading about cancel ops think is tho we are paying so much money and its a big decision etc we shouldnt have this worry as its getting closer its stressing me out now xx

My PCC is gonna call me today I’m gonna ask her about this when she calls. Very odd x

well after reading the mod news update on here looks like who ever has surgery with mario will not be getting done im waiting for them to call me to tell me is cancelled gutted isnt the word right now x x
