PLEASE HELP GIRLS…surgery cancelled again!!

lulu85 yes he has been suspended cant believe it .. im waiting for my pc to ring back with another surgeon for me as mine was sunday i dont know how to feel about it tbh as she said you will have your consultation with your new surgeon on the day of the op and take it from there if you wanna still go through with it etc

We are sorry to say that Dr Russo has had his practicing privileges with MYA Cosmetic Surgery Limited suspended following the General Medical Council suspending his GMC registration.

This relates to a fitness to practice matter pre-dating his working relationship with MYA. This means that Dr Russo cannot carry out any consultations, clinical reviews or perform any surgical procedures.

The GMC have taken this temporary measure whilst a full investigation is carried out. This could take a number of months. We will be contacting all patients over the coming days to explain how this will affect them and what we will be doing to help.

Given that a GMC investigation is underway we cannot allow this formal process to be compromised and therefore cannot allow any conversations or speculation to be made on this forum. Any references to this matter will therefore be immediately deleted.

Suspended!! I have just tried google it to see wot i can find out and there is nothing….. if anyone else finds anything please post on here.

aaah thanks Erika. bloomin heck. already waited 22 days for a new date and now looks like I wont get one lol. I want to cry, starting a new job in an hour as well x

I really feel for all patients affected by this I really do.

I also feel for MYA as this is something that has happened prior to him joining MYA and they will be doing all they can to re-arrange everyone’s op date/surgeon etc.

But may i just say that if u have been offered Mr Traynor u r in good hands he is a god. x He did my BA 10 months ago and no complaints from me x

All of the MYA surgeons have good reputations don’t they so you will be in safe hands. It’s just a shocking thing for the Mario girls to find out x

I had Mr T also – he’s gonna be a busy man now!! x

im still waiting for them to call me back if they have another surgeon to do me on sunday i dont know what to do cos my heart was on mario russo and i have never met any of the other surgeons with mya x

at least we know what’s happening now…hope everyone get’s sorted…all surgeons seem to be really good from what I’ve read on here, its just a shock isnt it! hope all goes well eventually for everyone x

Ive just booked a consultation with Mr Traynor for the 11th June here’s hoping things will get moving more quickly!

I had my op with mario on 6th may, now really worried as to y hes been suspended etc…not good at all x
