Can’t believe this is still going but gonna answer baring in mind im 3 weeks post op

What size were you pre op? 32A

How long did you go before you…

had a shower? 7 days! But had shallow baths before this

slept on your side? 14 days, but 3 weeks on can only bare 10 minutes tops

had sex? 7 days, was staying at mum’s so was abit difficult lol

stopped taking painkillers? 3 days

went back to work? 18 days

wore a wired bra? Not yet!

felt human again? Probably after a week and a half

Do you wish you’d gone bigger? Yep, boob greed!

Any wise words? Wrap your hands around your knee’s and rock to get you up from a sleeping position. Genius!

Fairy I wish I’d read your wise words before I had my op lol! Proper strained them on day 1……

I know lol. It’s a killer trying to find out ways to get up. Works well though. x

Size pre-op – 32D / 34C (they weren’t full at all though)

Size now – Wearing a 34F post op bra

Type of implant – 525cc CUI high profile overs

How long before you…..

Had a shower? Day 1, allowed to bath and shower properly as of 10 days

Slept on side? Day 5 (for a little bit)

Had sex? Day 1, no problems there haha

Stopped taking pain killers? Didn’t start!

Went back to work? N/A student

Wore a wired bra? Not yet

Felt human again? Day 2

Do you wish you’d gone bigger? Not really… Sometimes I do look and think ‘hmmmmm I wonder’ haha but 525s were the biggest I could have without paying more, and they’ve actually started to look natural which I’m happy about

Any wise words? This is something you need to do for YOURSELF, not anyone else. I’m so happy I finally went ahead with it despite the criticism I got from ‘friends’ etc. Like Fairydust said, don’t push yourself out of bed with your arms (the mistake I made), and putting a pillow under my lower back and under my knees helped me sleep very comfortably!

Size now – 32 E!! La Senza..so could be much smaller other places

Type of implant – 300cc high profile unders

How long before you…..

Had a shower? Would have been 2/3 weeks – had to go to Bfs. But bath after 4 days perhaps

Slept on side? 5 weeks i think

Had sex? 11 days! went over and suprised the bf by popping over.

Stopped taking pain killers? 2 weeks

Went back to work? N/A student

Wore a wired bra? 6 weeks

Felt human again? about 2 weeks when i could do more for myself:)

Do you wish you’d gone bigger? Na, they always looked huge to me from having so little, although i asked for 300cc, my surgeon today said 260cc from looking in my notes, when i had asked for 300 he went ‘oh yeah, thts what you got then’ :S not very helpful!!!!!!!!!

Any wise words? Takeit easy, dont rush anything as you dont want to ruin what you have paid so much for. Find out when you can start massaging so they will become softer quicker..wasnt told when i shud till today and they arent as soft as i’d like them to be.

So finally glad i can fill this in ..x

Had a shower? The day after the op, kept my sports bra on but it was a case of, wash from the belly down lol

Slept on your side? Since day 3!

Had sex? Day 2 & 3… and 4 and 5 haha Im joking. No seriously. Day 2.

Stopped taking painkillers? Still take them now and then if I’m feeling I need it. Just listening to my body.

Went back to work? Day 6

Wore a wired bra? Day 9 – Tried on old bra’s

Felt human again? Day 7 – I’d say I felt “normal”

Drove my car? Day 6

Do you wish you’d gone bigger? Yes wish I could of had 460

Any wise words? Enjoy every second, it goes in so fast. Always go for the largest size they’ll offer you. You miss your big swollen puppies

had a shower? 14 days – I had uplift and BA

slept on your side? 21 days can lay on side a bit but still can’t sleep on side yet – uplift made it very hard

had sex? 8 days – very carefully!!

stopped taking painkillers? still on them 21 days post op but massively reduced

went back to work? 14 days but could have done with 21 off to be honest with the uplift

wore a wired bra? not allowed to for quite a while yet

felt human agian? not quite yet but getting there, 21 days post op

Do you wish you’d gone bigger? with bra off.. no way, with clothes on sometimes but i think it’s only because i’m wearing sports bras at the mo that dont put them in the position i want, once i can wear sexy bras i’ll be well happy

Any wise words? take the pain killers you’re offered they do help, try not to worry about the stabbing pains, twinges or tightness, it does ease off and everything gets easier, at 3 weeks post op now i am so much more comfortable and they feel like they’ve always been mine. Don’t compare yourself to other girls on here when trying to pick implant sizes, trust your surgeon to advise you what is right for your frame xxxsx

Take food to the hospital in case they forget to feed you!!

Get the biggest size you are able

Don’t worry about the op as it’s a breeze

Don’t take the pain killers unless you really need them as they make you bloat something rotten

Don’t raise your arms above your head or do too much even if you feel able. Let the muscles repair slowly.

GET A V PILLOW!!!!

Take at least 2 weeks off work. You might not need it, but your body will thank you

Take you time choosing a surgeon and make sure you feel comfortable with them.

Don’t be in a rush to get measured/ buy bras too soon. You will keep changing shape for at least 6 weeks so any money spent before that will be wasted.

Don’t take to heart everything you read on this and other forums – every girl is different and you will experience some things others don’t, and not all that others do.

Do you wish you’d gone bigger? Yes – biggest I was offered was 460 so I’m pleased I asked Mr Traynor for 525’s. In hindsight I probably should’ve asked for bigger again but at the time 525 felt and seemed massive to me when I was trying implants on pre op.

Any wise words? Always pick the biggest size offered!!!!

Any wise words? Get a V-Pillow, don’t take painkillers unless necessary! Drink something else other than water when taking your medication cos the penicillin tastes awful, you can even taste it when you burp! Oh and be prepared for when you sneeze haha! All in all it’s soooooooo worth it!

Dont stress about the Op, its over with so quickly, you get put to sleep.. you wake up with new BOOBIES! take ur VPILLOW in with you day of BA!! and be careful when you cough or laugh as it does hurt and you will end up holding onto your boobs most of the time hahahaa xx but its sooooo worth it x

Keep in mind the look you want to achieve, especially if you want natural. Everyone will tell you to go the biggest you can, but that’s not always the best advice if you don’t want to look fake.

Any wise words? prepare for the worst because it wont be as bad as that and work on your core muscles and arms before op to help when you are ltd using your chest muscles.

This is a great thread but I was wondering when you started exercising again and what type (whether it was cardio only, resistance/weights etc.)
