I’m 3months post op open septo rhinoplasty with Andrea Giantrapanni i have an instagram journey @amymyarhino if you want to see some pictures.

The hardest thing with a rhino is that it takes so long to see the final final results surgeons always say you need to wait up to a year before you see the final result. sounds crazy i know! but its soo true your nose changes soo much through the healing time. Like dont get me wrong i loved mine from day one but you do have days of swelling and strangeness that you question your result but you just need to be patient. Thats when you see some negativity its hard because they are not fully done healing yet.

See both surgeons and go with who you feel most comfortable with, I defo think its the best way to go.

I’m excited for you, wish i could do it all over again.

Hi Katie, I have had Andrea I am a week post op. They take your packing out 2 days post op at your local MYA clinic just make sure you make your appointment when you have your pre op with your nurse (that’s when they did mine)

I am only a week post op and have just walked the last few days that’s it. I cant wait to get back to the gym. They say you can swell when you start exercising again, how has it been for you @sophie ?

I stayed overnight, dont think I could of gone back to hotel with my boyfriend. I was out for the count after being sick off the anesthetic. It’s up to you though it all depends on how you feel or what you think is best. If you are a day case though you have to stay within an hour of the hospital anyway. (if you don’t live within that distance of course)
I am from Newcastle and had op in London.

try not to worry too much, lets can have alot more swelling than other areas and now that you will probs be exercising again and moving around more after 6weeks you can start swelling again. I put spanks on (i had hips done) maybe buy the spanks that come down you legs that would help I am sure.

just make sure you take your garment with you, or buy spanks as you can easily hide it

you will be perfect for Vaser! check my pictures I just had my flanks done was very similar to you but just a different area.

haha!! i understand this completely about the pupic area. .. it goes down though. I actually found sleeping in the 4d vest more comfortable than sitting. If its pushing on your lower abdomen pull it down abit or cut some off the top and bad out the bottom thats what i did… It is all worth it though now almost 2yrs post op

Hi hannah, I had vaser to my flanks (hips) I would see a surgeon and he/she will tell you whats best for you. most of them do both traditional and vaser so when you see a surgeon you will have more of an idea. but I am over the moon with my results and nearly 2yrs ago now

Hi Salman, I exercise daily and lost weight but couldn’t lose it off my hips so had vaser and I was over the moon with results.

you will be fine nothing to worry about, PC will go through the procedure, prices and surgeons then arrange a consultation with your surgeon.

You will get sorted they will be looking to get you on the next date I’m sure once they know he is better. We never think they get ill too, Hope he feels better and so do you when you get your new date. Its all worth it! @kat

had you had your 1 week check yet? my nurse took mine off then and a redressed and said i could shower and pat them dry she said if they come off its fine, there was one took a little longer than others so gave me strips to redress for a few more days.

If you call the nurse their really good and tell you what is best though

the garments are restricting at first but you will get used to it, the strapping no doubt wont help.. take it easy hun and Im excited for your transformation, you will feel like a new woman after vaser and boobs

ME!!!! i had my hips (fanks) done over a year ago now… best thing ever. If you add me I have pictures up.
I would definitely say make sure you have 6 weeks prior to traveling so you have all of your checks.

haha!!! I think i still have it in the house, will try and take a picture tonight to upload, i cut it so ut sat below my boobs (but i dont have much there) at the back I did too. but i used that bit to put at my crotch because when you sit for a long time at work you can swell abit (normal) and it stops the lower part of the garment digging in.

Make sure the 4d vest is under your long spanks garment lie down on your bed to put it on as you can get it tighter… I wore lose dresses and tights to hide mine and i cut it too so dont worry as its one side fits all (4d vest thing) …
try not toget yourself upset it will all be worth it

Leaking is good will stop after 24hrs so dont worry, yeah the 4D vest isnt great but you get used to it and it will make a difference to your result, I cut the back of mine a little so it was less obvious.
It will all be worth it, dont over do it these first few days.

i had vaser just over a year ago now to my flanks. I have pictures too.
1, it isnt painful – your just uncomfortable for a couple of days
2, swelling can last up to 6weeks everyone is different tho, my swelling did go fast but when i started to run and go to the gym i would swell up abit
3, YES!
4, No – but would have other areas now lol

my mam was the same @gem but now she wants it…. you have to do it for you and no matter what the procedure is you know yourself best. I had Vaser to my Flanks by the way feel free to add me too.

It will go its totally normal, start rubbing in Bio oil yourself around 4 weeks, some areas feel tender but thats normal too

Hi Jenni, Defo call and ask, Just make sure you still have your tight macom garment on… Depending on the area just go and buy some tight spanks thats what I did

put spanks on or just your think garment not the vest, just for the day though as you dont want indents or to swell up again

I wore spanks after my garment, (i took mine off earlier than i was supose to) and just wore spanks Mr T said he was fine with that.. but I just had flanks so that might be why

I had Vaser to my flanks (not Mr Mounir though) but it is well worth it I don’t mind if you want to add me and I will answer any questions you have, I am nearly a year post op.
