    Menu

yes exactly! I’m happy with my boobs the size is perfect for my body and ive got great cleavage but I’ve been googling symmastia and I’m scared if I don’t do/say anything about it now and get them looked at in a couple of months i’ll be hiding my boobs away. I’ll see what my nurse says next week about them xx

    In reply to: Panicking! (symmastia)

    Menu

I have a little discomfort but I wasn’t sure if that was because I’m under 6 weeks and have some more healing to go? I feel like if I push down in between my breasts it’s not completely flat on my chest wall either, it’s sort of raised? Are you having the same issue too? xx

In reply to: Drop andd fluff?

    Menu

Mine started to drop at about week 3, but I didn’t notice until I compared it to weeks 1 & 2. I’m at 5 weeks now and there getting softer but still have a way to go. But everyone’s different, my friends literally didn’t drop for ages x

    In reply to: Bra breaks???

    Menu

I felt the exact same! So at my 1 week post op I asked my nurse and she told me she didn’t mind me having a half an hour break from my Macom/sports bra x

I had Mounir as well! I was in the same position as you at one point, hope this (link) helps x

@livcoxx I’d speak to your pc, tell her your concerns and see what she says? Then maybe speaking to another surgeon and seeing what he/she reccomended if you really want to have your gap closed? ?

thankyou, I’ve seen a lot of girls who have had overs that look really natural so don’t worry!

Not got anything to do with the post but your boobs look amazing hun! Have you been measured yet? x

In reply to: Is this too big?

    Menu

Hey Hun, I used to be a 32A so I got a small and it fits perfectly and it can stretch aswell. My nurse said it shouldn’t be too tight or too loose, you should be able to fit 2 finger widths in easily. I thought I had to go up a size so I got a medium and sent it back it be ause it didn’t fit right x

    In reply to: When?

I started driving at 10 days post op, 5th gear was a task though and I felt so tired afterwards didn’t drive again until 2 weeks post op and felt a lot better then! x

@leahlou93 it could be nothing! they could just have trouble getting your GP letter or you might have to pay for it before your GP will release it to Mya, that’s what happened to me x

I’m at the Nottingham clinic, I had this problem once when I was trying to contact my nurse turns out they weren’t open until later on that day (called at 10, they opened at 12) phone the main Mya number – 03330141014 and see if they can put you through, that’s what I did and found out they didn’t open until later on haha!

In reply to: 6days post op is this normal I'm so upset

    Menu

Hey Hun, stay positive and give it time. You’ve got to remember that there both separate operations so one may be more swollen than the other. I’m 2 weeks post op and have feeling in my right boob but my left is numb and both of my nipples are really sore. Just wait it out until your first pre op and if it’s still bothering you by then talk to your nurse about it, but just remember they are going to heal at different rates xx

In reply to: Bruising inbetween boobs….

Mines bony too? I had 350 ultra high profile unders x

    In reply to: Sore nipples?

    Menu

Mine are the same, it’s normal so don’t worry. Not too sure about the stingy incisions though? I know they itch when their healing x

In reply to: Bruising inbetween boobs….

    Menu

There’s not a lot you can do Hun that you aren’t already doing, you just have to be patient and wait it out, everyone’s body is different so it could take a few days for he swelling and bruising to go or a few weeks. I had swelling everywhere! My chest, my boobs (obviously), ribs and stomach for about a week. I’m 2 weeks post op now and still have bruising on my ribs and outer boobs but I’ve noticed it slowly going x

In reply to: Is this normal?

    Menu

@zarha yes hun its perfectly normal, I couldn’t lift my arms higher than armpit level so using a deodorant was a task! I’m 2 weeks post op and can just about lift my arms up over my head fully but still feel slightly tight, it’ll get better over time just be patient :). Did you get overs or unders? x

Hey @chloestanxx we have the same stats! 5ft5 size 6/8 and I also used to be a 32a. Had implants 2 weeks ago today and I’m currently wearing a 32dd and everyone who knows say the fit my body frame perfectly and incase you would like to know I had 350 ultra high profile under the muscle ☺️ x

In reply to: Bras / Sports bras – confused

    Menu

if your going to buy sports bra’s as well as a macom make sure it’s a high impact one without underwire and either a zip/bra hook closures at the front so it’s easy for you to get in and out of it. Marks and Spencers do a really good one, I find it’s so much more comfier than my macom x

In reply to: Help!!! Anyone else a size A going to DD??

    Menu

I’ve stopped taking pain medication, I was given codeine, paracetamol and ibuprofen but I literally didn’t go to the toilet for about 4 days! (sorry about the too much info) When my back pain gets unbearable I use them heat patches for muscle pain or a hot water bottle.
As of after care I haven’t been doing much to my boobs apart from sleep at a 45 degree angle (for the first 2 weeks) wear my macom bra or a high impact sports bra (I do have half an hour breaks sometimes – nurse said I could) and I’ve been rubbing bio oil morning and night on my boobs to prevent stretch marks (avoiding my incisions obviously!) I did this 4 weeks before my op as well xx

In reply to: Help!!! Anyone else a size A going to DD??

@kerril aww thank you, I didn’t have much pain if I’m honest just mostly discomfort. The only pain I suffered was the first 4 days after the op and occasionally in the morning my chest feels tight and heavy but I’m getting used to that. Only thing that’s annoying is the back pain as my body’s not used to the weight of my implants yet haha! x

In reply to: Does anyone know if you can request a early admission

    Menu

I don’t think you can, from what I’m told it’s first come first served when booking your surgery date, but you can always ask? My surgery was at Preston which is 3 hours away from where I live. My nurse advised me to book a hotel incase anything was to happen after I left the hospital. Sooo glad I did! My admission time was 11 went down at 4:30 and wasn’t discharged until 11:30pm by that time me and my boyfriend were exhausted and we only had a 20 minuet drive back to the hotel. There was no way I could’ve coped with the drive back home after the surgery and the long day at the hospital, I don’t think my boyfriend had the energy either! x

Wait what?! The nurse gave a pack of 200mg after my surgery to take home with me…

    Menu

@samanths-2016 yeah I was supposed to get high profile but woke up with ultra high instead, my surgeon came in to see me after my surgery and said he thought it suited me better. At my first consultation I met with my patient coordinator she explained to me the process of getting a ba, the surgery, the implants, price, answered all my questions just basically everything and more. She then reccomended a surgeon which best fit what I was asking for, then booked me in the see him the following week xx

I had this! Then i just woke up one day and it had gone… I think it’s common in girls who didn’t have drains (so I’ve been told) x

    Menu

@samanths-2016 no that’s fine ? I’m doing loads better than a few days ago, Ive finished my course of medication and haven’t taken anything for the pain in a while. They still need to drop and fluff but so far I’m loving having boobs, which I did this ages ago! x

    In reply to: Sickness

    Menu

I know the feeling! I looked pregnant too so I stopped taking codeine and just take paracetamol and ibuprofen whenever I feel pain. What medication were you given then? I’d never taken codeine before so the nurse told me she won’t give me anything with codeine in incase I didn’t take to it, I was just given that separately. So maybe that’s what’s making you feel sick?x

@hachb I got 350cc under the muscle, I’m exactly 1 week post op today and in my opinion I think they are more than enough! I deffo wouldn’t go any bigger or smaller. I had second thoughts as well and was so close to asking my surgeon to go bigger but I’m glad I didnt! Feel free to ask me anything if you wanna know more ? x

Which painkillers are you taking? I know some people can’t take codine because it doesn’t agree with them so they just stick to paracetamol and ibuprofen… I’ve never taken codine before and the nurse told me after my surgery if I feel sick or dizy stop taking it and just use standard pain killers. x

In reply to: Did anyone NOT have any strapping/breast band?

    Menu
    +1

I wasn’t told to get a breast band and my surgeon never mentioned it either. I can barely handle my Macon bra so I can’t imagine the pain you must be going through! My best friend had to have a breast band because the surgeon she went with tends to place the implants higher than others hence the need of a breast band, but it sounds like your surgeon maybe only said it because you mentioned it? Ask your nurse first to make sure it’s ok not to wear it to be on the safe side x

In reply to: 32b to 32c/32d with pictures?!

It took me ages! Could’ve got surgery ages ago? I purely made my decision on which surgeon j felt most comfortable with and who understood what I was asking for. And mya ended up being the one xx

In reply to: 32b to 32c/32d with pictures?!

    Menu

@pflorida thank you, there still a bit swollen and they have dropping to do but I’m happy with them so far! I had my first consultation and surgeon consultation in February time and then left it ages before actually booking my surgery because I was stuck between Mya and another company. Then when I chose Mya in May I was offered a surgery date for June but due to my job I needed more notice so I asked if there were any spaces the following month. So mine too a while because I’m so indecisive but I know you can ask for late space availability and get a discount through that ?

    @samanths-2016
course not! Profiles are just the projection of the implant when they sit on your chest, but your surgeon will recommend what’s best for your frame (attached a picture) xx
