hi, got on really well yesterday thanks , i saw kerry standeven at leeds clinic. ill be going with dr kazzazi on 23rd october in doncaster. im going to see him on tuesday and ill also be having my preop at the same time to cut down on travelling. im so exited i nearly booked in for 10 days time but reality set in and i realised there just too much to organise before then with kids and everything. kerry said that if nipple is in line with your breast crease then your borderline uplift, i think mine is just above so im praying i will get good results with just an implant! adele yours is so close i bet you cant wait, julsp when is yours? what size do you measure now ruth and what were you before?xx

    Hey :O)

I feel totally the same!! I have just 1.5 weeks now, (16 sept) and it keeps daunting on me every so often that what I am doing is something that I cannot go back on after it is done!!! It is sooooooo scary because this decision will stick with me for the rest of my life!! And Rio, me too, I keep thinking, actually my boobs aren’t really that bad! And I also think, it could be worse! But then I think of how happy everyone I’ve read about is, after they have had it done, and I also think that me too- I have a chance to be that happy about my body and my boobs! It will make me feel more confident, more sexy, and more womanly!! But yeah, lots of thoughts in my head keep popping up, but just think..NO MORE GEL BRAS!!!!! hehe!!!

Sorry I’ve ranted on there! But it’s definitely normal for everyone to feel like this :O)- thats what I keep telling myself anyway!!

I think it’s so lovely that we can chat and express how we’re feeling cos despite support from family and friends it can be a bit lonely cos you’re the only one going through it and then you log on here and get the reassurance from other people in exactly the same boat. Must be normal if we’re all having the same doubts and anxieties!!

    Hey girlies

You won’t regret your surgery, trust me! I’ve just put a detailed new discussion on here, take a look, it may put you at ease. I went with what Mr Adamo recommended, he said 410 overs and I was thinking about 380 over’s. I would have been wrong to doubt him, mine look amazing! I’ve just put my post on here I think its called “My BA with Mr Adamo”.

    Best of luck everyone.

    Hi Cheryl,

I’m currently a 32 a/b, and hopefully having 410 cc overs! Even though Mr Adamo has recommended 380ccs because I first told him I wanted to be a full D, but over the past 5 weeks I’ve changed my mind and want to be a DD/E!!!! which would mean I have 410 cc instead. But he will decide on the day of surgery!! (16 Sept)

I am size 6-8 dress size, am 5ft 3.5″ and am 21 yo.

Let us know what you do hun!!

    Menu

    Hiya Wendy,
Had under the muscle as had no skin room for overs (both times). My 1st BA was quite painful after. Not too bad under the muscle 2nd time round but think my muscle had stretched with the 340cc’s.
Theres not too much difference between 410cc and 380cc just 30cc…125 cc is classed as one cup size approx I think. I’d go for 410cc if you can.

In reply to: Anyone who was an a or aa cup? what size implant did u have?

    Menu

    Hey Emma

Awww thank you :O) I didn’t realise 125cc was a cup size! So I presume the difference with 380 to 410 is that the 410 would just be fuller? And therefore my bra size would still be the same no matter which size I go for?

    Hope you’re recovering well :O)

    hi cheryl,
im 32aa (teenie weenie) and am having 410cc overs (14th oct) im size 8-10 5’8
this will take me to a dd ish.
i had originaly chosen 380cc like you but went back to mr adamo to ask for bigger ones and 410 is what i will be having now.
if u have any querys on sizes go back and see your PA or surgeon and have another play around with the implants so ur sure.

I am going to ask for my deposit back on Monday – I bl**dy well hope they give it back considering they gave the wrong price to start with. Having researched so much more and realised it is a complete mine field out there I am more than likely going to go else where. I am originally from SA (my sister still lives there) and have had some quotes from there so have been thinking about going abroad – having checked out elyzea, its even cheaper than going home (SA). Will definitely give them a go – consultation in London – and when you read the reviews you see what good value it is and what good service. i really don’t mind getting on a cheap flight to Belgium and if anything did go wrong as it could anywhere they are only over the ocean.

    Hi Ladies,
Really think hard before deciding surgery abroad. Always consider the aftercare policy that you are offered I doubt very much it’s as good as what you receive in the UK. A far as I am aware you are not really meant to fly shorthaul for at least 2 weeks after surgery. I have had 2 BA’s in the UK and beleive me you will not feel like lugging a suitcase/hand luggage, even getting on a plane….you are meant to take it easy!!!. If something should go wrong back in the UK it could also work out costly getting yourself back there to get the problem sorted…I doubt you would be covered for return plane fares. I beleive a lot of these companies just have a consultation room etc in the UK which can be very misleading…anything that goes ”really wrong” you will have to get yourself back abroad I think.
I just can’t see how the aftercare can be as good abroad as it is in the UK. A BA is a big step for a lot of ladies and yes I understand price does have a lot of bearing on decisions but going abroad is not always the best cheaper option. I personally would never have a BA done abroad knowing what I know now after 2 BA’s (how you feel, after pain etc, needing a nurse on standby, havinga PC close to hand help you etc). I know a couple of ladies who have had BA’s done abroad and were unhappy and it was a real struggle/hassel for them to sort appointments out to go back abroad….and costly.

Always look at the bigger picture before deciding on BA’s abroad.

Thanks Emma – I suppose its a personal choice and what one feels comfortable with. I know they do all of the consultations with the surgeons in the UK aswell as the after care in the UK so it wouldnt mean going back if anything went wrong. If the surgeon is as qualified as the surgeons here then there is no difference doing it another country – thats my opinion. I do hear what you are saying about lugging a suit case etc – but having someone with you would solve that.

When anyone mentions surgery abroad its seems to make people think that it some back alley operation – there is life beyond the UK.

Its all about personal choice and the bank account.

    Thanks for your advice though.

Hey ladies, I already wrote this on one of the other messages but I will repeat here!! :O)

My friend went to Belgium to have her BA, and she had hers through the areola. It is sooooo much cheaper to have a BA abroad, it cost her altogether for 3 nights in belgium, the flights for her and her boyfriend, the surgery itself, and the consultations just

Personally I am going to stay with MYA because it just feels safer being in your own country, rather than going abroad in foreign settings with foreign people, and it could be quite unnerving and uncomfortable! Just my opinion though! :O)

I agree it is a bit risky going abroad . There are a few ways to bring the cost of ba with mya the five hundred discount and 250 discount for day case and up to 500 for a late space i got mine for 3350 an even tho its been hard work to save id rather pay the extra an know if anything goes wrong like rippling or one is bigger or hangs lower i can get my after care without having to fly back . Hope this helps x

Hi Polly. Yes i’ve had it done and i’m so happy!! I had 300 under’s and it went really well. They are hardly swollen at all! The nurse reckons I will end up being a 32D (I got measured as a 32A in La senza before the op). They don’t look really big tho, if anything I think I could have gone bigger! Best of luck girls xxxx

Don’t be nervous. I was having serious doubts the week before the op, even when i was waiting to go into the surgery! But as soon as i woke up from the surgery i felt so relieved and happy, i got wheeled back into my room and my boyfriend said i just had the biggest smile. It felt so right. The pain isn’t as bad as I thought either, just make sure you take the painkillers. any questions let me know but i am sure you will be fine xx

Hiya. Well they are ok, but one boob is more swollen than the other so is looking a bit strange at the moment! Has anyone else found this? It’s making both boobs look a different shape! It’s fine when i’m wearing clothes tho and the pain is easing loads. Hoping that as it’s still early days that it will just take a bit more time to settle and for the swelling to go. How are your’s looking Polly? xx
