i was advised to wear my strap around the top of my boobs and my M&S high impact sports bra 24/7 for 6 weeks but i continued wearing the sports bra at night for a good 5 months afterwards because i was still very sore, i had 300cc unders and the recovery was so painful but worth it! i was allowed a shower for 2 weeks afterwards as i had to leave my stitches in and dressings on for 2 weeks! sponge washing was fine I just struggled washing my hair over the bath lol im 10 months PO now and the results were worth the pain! ???? xx

im 10 months PO and i use bio oil, really good for the scars and not massively expensive 🙂 x

yeah it’s horrible!! 🙁 we had our ops around the same time didn’t we abbie? it’s only a few pounds but because i was so skinny before, it’s much more noticeable! any tips on how to shift this?? it’s making my boobs look smaller and i feel a bit down about it xxx

hiya hun i had linda fiumara, she was absolutely lovely but as i had thin skin, minimal breast tissue and odd ribs due to an accident, she suggested 300 biggest for me, i was disappointed but I trusted her advice and i ended up with results of 32DD/E from a 32B/small empty C and even she was shocked at how good my results turned out. can’t see my rib imperfections at all anymore! and i have a cleavage!! ? so i would trust what she says, after all they are the best at what they do 🙂 good luck! xxx

that’s so horrible to hear that you’re so upset with your results 🙁 i found my nurse was really lovely and supportive whenever i needed her as well. i really hope you get it sorted by your surgeon or even suggest seeing a different surgeon? xx

getting up for a small walk everyday will
make a massive difference girls, it’ll help with stomach pains and back pain as you’re probably a bit bunged up from all the painkillers and antibiotics. also i found heat pads worked wonders on my back and i took herbal sleeping tablets to help me at night. your muscles will also be tense from the new additions as it’s extra weight and you might be tense from not wanting to hurt them or strain yourself too much so try to relax and think about how good you’ll feel once your fully healed 🙂 hope you all feel better soon! xxx

i am 6 weeks PO and the sensitivity is gone at the bottom of my boobs completely, can’t feel a thing there but they feel pretty normal now aside from that. my boyfriend has no complaints 😛 they take a while to feel fully normal again though xx

heat pads for back pain are brilliant! £4 for 3/4 i think at most supermarkets, they really helped when i had back ache from sleeping weirdly. just think how good your results will be! ? also you can wear your band on top of your bra if it’s uncomfortable underneath xx

i had 300/320 mod plus unders 🙂 made me go up 2/3 bra sizes depending where i shop so i am really happy! her judgement is pretty good, i haven’t seen any complaints about her on here and it seems a lot more girls are using her in the last couple of months, i would trust her judgement and you can always ask for a couple of sizes to be ordered and make a decision on the day, i had 3 different sizes ordered x

how did it go? i had linda as well and she was fantastic! i just asked about what sort of size i could look to achieve with my frame as i am small framed and if she could get me a cleavage. she wasn’t sure about the cleavage but i ended up with better results than she originally thought she could give me and now i measure a 30DD so i am very happy! xx

hiya hun i had unders and the band was so uncomfortable i would take it off to have a bath so i could get some relief from it and it didn’t affect my results at all 🙂 it’s completely normal to feel rubbish, the meds are probably adding to feeling awful as well but i promise you it gets better. i am 6 weeks PO and i am fully healed and around the 2 week mark i started to feel mostly back to normal. keep on top of your painkillers and rest up xx

i didn’t see any other people apart from MYA and saw one surgeon but i loved what i had done and really trusted my surgeons decision, she was brilliant! my nurse was fab as well and has kept in good contact with me throughout. i personally think mine are big but natural for my frame which was exactly what i wanted to achieve! they’re not massively soft right now but they’ll take time to soften up especially as they’re under the muscle so the healing process is a bit longer but definitely consider who you choose well 🙂 xx

i was a 32B before i was told the same as you, can only have up to 300, maybe a teeny bit more as i have thin skin and hardly any breast tissue so i had unders but my results were fantastic! much better than i imagined! ? what surgeon are you having? xxx

my left one looked different to my right one for a bit when they were dropping but i am 6 weeks PO now and i feel happy with mine, so it might be worth seeing your nurse and doubling checking everything is all okay! xx

how long ago did you have them done? they might just be dropping still and getting their shape xx

my bmi was underweight and the limit MYA has was 17 and my BMI was 17.4 i think? they’ll tell you at surgeon consultations and your pre op if it’s of any concern to surgery going ahead or not xxx

i had dr fiumara and i am 6 weeks PO on Monday, cannot wait to start wearing normal bras again! she was fantastic, really lovely and put me at ease when i was so nervous on the day. my incisions healed so well and i love how neat and small they are. i have attached some photos, i had 300/320 mod plus unders and currently measure a 32DD, but different shops make me different sizes 🙂 also i got my sports bras from m&s ultra impact ones and i also got one from asda for £8 which was fantastic! xx

mine is definitely dr fiumara, it’s between 6-12 weeks for surgeon and i couldn’t see my nurse in Bristol so been redirected to Cardiff 🙂 xx

hey lovely, i personally think one boob is dropping faster than the other but don’t be scared to send pictures to your nurse as they’re there to help you and would’ve seen all sorts of results. i hope you feel better soon and feel happy with your new boobs xxx

my left is taking longer to drop than my right and i am 5 weeks PO, i have my 6 week check on Saturday too! in Cardiff so hoping dr fiumara can let me know how they’re getting on as i think they look fab but my left does feel harder than my right xx

yeah she ordered 3/4 sizes i think and just went with what was best on the day as she was unsure which ones would even fit on me! haha some of my ‘friends’ were very negative about it and calling me vain for wanting it done, like being upset and down about the way i look is normal?! but since then loads of people have said how good they look and how happy i am! ? worth it 100%! xx

it needs to be quite tight just not so much that it’s digging in or causing marks. i wore mine on top of my bra as it was itchy and hurting underneath xx

amber i went for as big as they would offer me and i love them, go for whatever you and your surgeon think best and at the end of the day, it’s how you feel that really matters. i know it’s hard because i am also a massive worrier and over thinker but don’t worry about what other people might think or say! it’s your body and your choice, you’re old enough to decide what you want 🙂 also i had people tell me i look no different, pictures and seeing them naked proves otherwise! 😉 xxx

sam i have emetophobia as well!! they pumped me full of anti sickness and i was fine, slightly dizzy and felt sick when i walked to the loo first time but was okay xx

relax lovely! 🙂 honestly there’s nothing to worry about, the chances of any complications are so small and think of why you want it done. i was so scared but I realise now how silly i was spending all my time panicking and getting upset. it’s normal to feel all over the place but think of the positives, how you’ll feel afterwards, new bras, new bikinis, feeling content and happy with your new additions! honestly you’re not alone I think every girl goes through this stage before surgery, it’s natural as it’s a big change but you will feel so much better in time, and look through all the amazing results on here! if you need to talk feel free to message me ❤️

hideous paper knickers!! ? my admission was 9am and i went down just after 1 so bring magazines and books to pass the time. there is a tv in your room though which has a decent amount of channels! they’ll weigh you again and do height, go through a form of allergies and other bits and pieces. then your surgeon will come and draw on you and explain what’s going to happen, along with the anaesthetist. you’ll walk down to your surgery room which i found quite scary but it was fine once i was lying down and relaxed. it’ll all go by so quickly 🙂 xx

yeah different shops have different sizes as i was a 30DD somewhere and a 30E somewhere else! do you know anywhere that does nice unwired bras, like long line style ones? xx

i started lying flat on my back from 2 weeks and i am 4 weeks post op now and starting to lie more on my side but with my boobs well supported xx

make sure you stock up on paracetamol, ibuprofen, heat pads and food! easy to cook food, because you won’t be up to doing much. i made sure I had snacks and water beside my bed or by the sofa so i didn’t have to move much! also unders hurt and take longer to heal so expect limited movement and to sleep A LOT! the worst days are day 2 through to around 10 days/2 weeks, good luck hun xxx
