Hi, what would happen is that you will get much more swollen in the places treated without the compression garment. If you decide to take it off, then put it back on as soon as you can. do not keep it off for longer than absolutely necessary. this can worsen the result of the surgery and extend the healing time. good luck! xx

hi Lisa,
before i had my surgery, i got a patient pack at the first meeting with her patient coordinator. In this pack all the information regarding cancellation and refunds, as well as details regarding who to contact if you have complaints. Your daughter should have it as well. If she doesnt have it, i think it is worth talking to her PC again and ask for all receipts… hope this will get resolved!
i think MYA mod can also help to get in contact with right people to help in this situation.

Oh no, that is def not the best activity next day after surgery! Indeed you will need someone to come with you and help you with doors, bags, coat! if u drive in a car use a v-pillow to put btw seat belt and ur boobs, if the drive is long. have painkillers with u, and eat! so u dont feel sick from having all meds in ur system and not enough food/water. U could be more emotional and tired after ba… so just keep it in mind and try to take everything as easy as u can!

cc’s are confusing! u are not alone 😉 surgeons measure ur chest to see what biggest diameter he can fit in and then he will decide on projection depends on how much breast tissue u’ve got and what size you want to have! try to listen to his advise 🙂 once you know what he suggested, you can check with girls here on forum who had similar implants for the results they’ve got and see if you want to go similar 🙂

same here hun! more then 3 weeks post op – still on my back! never slept on my back before:S
i sleep on a foam pillow under my back and bum and elevated on a couple of pillows with a v-pillow on the top. it is quite comfy. check my photos, i posted my sleeping arrangement:)
being straight on the back is really hard! unless i wear a good support bra, then it is more or less ok.

no sleeping pills for me 🙂 but maybe you can talk to ur GP and get them! i used foam pillow under my back and bum and v-pillow for shoulders. slept quite well! and i am a tummy-sleeper 😀
i was 36a and now 36C, i didnt get measured yet, it is the size of the sports bra i wear at the moment. i had 330cc moderate profile. so i guess you would need a higher profile. maybe 385 high profile? you will be told the options by ur surgeon 😉

hi Chelsey,
the earliest is abt 2 weeks after consultation. there is a cooling off period when u can cancel op. then you will need to tests, so i guess if ur surgeon is available then you would be able to go ahead within weeks.
try to write down your questions, worries, wishes and maybe have some pics printed out to show to your surgeon. it will help you to focus during the meeting. i forgot all my questions when i started playing with implants! ask for different options and if he recommends you something, check which other options you have and why he suggests specific implants.
i had 330cc moderate profile, wear now C sports bra.

poor u! waiting is crazy, i know!
i felt the same waiting for mine! when i arrived to hospital, i really needed to go to loo, but they asked me to wait for pregnancy test! at some point i though i would cry so bad it was 😀
and then i curled on the bad and put my hoodie over me and alm fell asleep! 😉 at least i felt warmer..
there is a trick how to feel less hungry – place your palm on ur stomach just so itis straight under your ribs. then pull ur stomach in and help it slightly with your palm by pressing on it. ur palm would go abt 45 degrees to your ribs. then exhale and do it abt 10 times. u should feel better. this exercise helps to get rid of extra stomach juice which is there to digest ur food as you are used to eat at certain times. by pressing on it with ur palm you let it flow out of stomach and thus ur feeling of hunger should ease 🙂 works on me. i was taught it by my friend doctor who needed to wait for a surgery himself 😉

Nads, it also depends on the projection you have! i had 330 moderates – they are really wide on the base, almost 13cm in diameter, but they are not really full – projection is less than 3 cm! so u need to think what exactly you want. my boobs look big when i look into a mirror, but if i look down at them, they dont look big at all! ( i think that is when lots of girls including me start having boob greed 😀 )
i wear C size sport bras at the moment. i could wear D, they are ok in diameter but too empty in fullness, the bra doesnt stretch enough. I looked at the Natrell catalogue of all implants and saw that if i wanted to have same base of abt 13 cm and additional cm on the projection, i would have to go for 440cc nigh profile! go figure… it is quite difficult to know what size implants to choose… but if it is important for you to see boobs when u look down, you need higher projection ;)))
i didnt know that when i was choosing, so if i had to decide now, i would have asked my surgeon how to achieve this.

Hunny, just saw your photos, if you have some blood coming out of incision and boob feels hot – u’d better check it. let me know how ur meeting with nurse went!
i am just over 3 weeks too and my boobs are also still settling down. mine are also itching and feel very sensitive, cant touch sometimes! esp nipples… my skin started pilling off and it drives me mad sometimes. I found a way to get itching down before going to bed – i put cold packs on the areas which itch a lot and then wait till coolness of icepacks takes away itchiness and then remove them. it gives me enough time to fall asleep 😉
hopefully it is just healing process and all is fine!
i noticed also that some bras i have are quite tight under boobs and seams come too close to incisions and cause irritation. i try to let my boobs rest a bit from bras during the day – it helps a lot. and also i change the bras sometimes few times a day. the worn ones go straight to wash…

U can drink alcohol after u stopped taking your antibiotics. so if your course is 5-7 days, u should wait till u stop taking them. also do not drink much, it slows healing – i’ve been told by many ppl. 🙂

Alcohol decreases effectiveness of antibiotics and thinners the blood – thus no drinks before and after op. i was told 48h before op – no alc. and it is important. i think getting the surgery done smoothly and healing quick for me was the top priority.. so i could wait with drinking. must admit though i really enjoyed my first glass of wine this week! i had to go to dinners during no-alc period – i would not refuse to drink, and have wine in my glass, occasionally took a smaaaaaalest sip ever so made an impression i was drinking. regarding other excuses – u have to drive later or u are taking antibiotics now due to cold/flu/angina and have to finish the course, though u already feel fine.

hi hun, i am alm 3 weeks post op and cant fully sleep on side yet, but half turn – can. i use v-pillow and put it under the side and this helps not to press boobs too much. i also use memory foam pillow under my back and bum, and can sleep though the night on m back! normally i love sleeping on sides or belly, so for me it was a big change too! x

hi hun, agree your right boob looks less settled than the left one… i noticed that my boob is a less round on the bottom than the other one, but it looks like it is rather swollen.. i am 2 weeks post op too. hopefully urs is also still healing and will drop to perfect position. which implants did you have?

u will be able to dress normally in a couple of days after ba. too tight clothes could be tricky to put over head as u need to pull them down, and pull up to take it off – that is the most painful and try to avoid it. zipping up, buttons and dresses should be fine. i wear most of things 2 weeks post op, if i can fit in my new boobies :DDD

hi Molly, i am 2 weeks post op and yeah bum, back, neck and shoulders ache! for sleeping i have a long foam pillow (normally my partner uses it for sleeping on it but i confiscated it 😀 ) under my back and bum, then a v pillow on the top to support head and shoulders – this helps to keep boobs centered, when your arms are along your body.and i have just another pillow under my knees and calves – i will take a photo now, maybe will help. i sleep great! barely wake up at night.

hi hun, send the photos to your pc and ask her to check with a nurse, this would be the best.. keep scars dry and clean. i was told to change bras every day and dry scars with super clean towel or tissues. also sometimes bras press too much on the scars and cause irritation…

i had admission time at 730am got to theater at 10am, done at 11am back to room at 11.15 went home at 5pm. i stayed a bit longer just not to stand in traffic on the way back 😉

@Kristy really?? i though i went nuts when i had to change 3 bras in one hour 😀 once i had to sit on the train for 2h and then cycle home, and my boobs became so swollen that i just had to open the bra under my jumper to be able to move!
girls, are the seamless bras, the ones that are very soft and more like a half-tshirt, ok?? or are they too soft?? i will put a pic into album so u know which one i mean. they are comfy for sleeping…

just had my strapping off and my right boob makes noises on the top part! will get baby oil to clean it from tape and then put pics on… gosh it is so weird to have them! strapping kind of made it easier! now they are heavy and they are THERE!! :))) still embracing the whole change 😀

Yeap, I would recommend him! he can do multiple areas at once. i had mine under general anaesthetic though so if you want to be awake during procedure you might have to have less done. ask him 🙂
calves do not affect bumm 😀 but back side of legs does. he refused to do my back legs, saying that the bum would “fall” and loose its roundness.
another doc though who does traditional lipo wanted to do my back legs and front, but wouldnt do inner thighs and knees. but vaser can do small parts very effectively.
