It was best 4 loans, basically we applied last week, was told we’d been accepted, had to pay a &50 processing fee, accept ther terms and conditions online, then told the money would be in our bank within 3-5 working days, obviously got my hope us etc after all of that…yesterday after 5 days it hadnt gone in, phoned them up, got told to log onto their site, that it was all dealt with through customer services, whom we couldnt speak to, as there is no number for them, its all done online…after signing on we’ve been told that there are credit problems and advise us to go through one of their lenders etc, rubbish when we’ve just paid them that money and got told we’d been accepted! Cant beleive it…

sorry to go on, but thats basically how it was, seems very strange…my boyfriend is currently on phone to tescos, trying them x

Oh god really?? what was the outcome? Thats really bad, how long ago was that? i cant get any joy out of them, takes them half a day to respond to a message and its more or less one word answers…just been agreed ‘in principle’ with tescos, whateva that means, my boyfriend is feelin confident for me now but i’m realy not…well done with saving hun, i just cant see me ever being able to save that amount of money :( x x

It was about 2 months ago. They tld me id been accepted over the phone and said they’d send me the paperwork out n then wen i got the paperwork it was just app.forms from other loan companys which u needed a guarantor for and i dont have 1 so had to cancel my application, i didn’t get the fee back that i had to pay either.

Mr Adamo is really nice btw, i had a consultation with him.

OH really, obviously their way of getting their money…i’m gonna be pushin for that money back tho, not happy at all…feel so let down by them…Yes ive read alot of very good reviews on Mr Adamo, looking forward to seein him, but disappointed that may not be able to put deposit down yet, and really wanted to get in in september…x

Same thing happened to me – approved me, then declined me – idiots! I’m now putting my boobs on my dads credit card (bless my dad!) and paying that way.
Have you got it sorted yet Sara?? x

Really? same company? I’m so p****d off with it, cant get any responce from them! We applied through tescos last nite, have been approved on principle, they’ve got to send us the paperwork to sign, then we’ll send it back recorded del and hopefully know within a couple of days after that, but now i’m worried the same thing will happen again…this in ‘principle’ thing obviously means they do more credit checks, am a bit worried i must admit, things were going a bit too well :(

seiing surgeon this afternoon, nervous and excited aswell, but really wanted to put deposit down and book it for september, so god knows now, cant looe that amount of deposit just incase tescos turn us down…have been so excited up until yesterday xx

the thing that worries me the most now is that obviously we’ve now gone through a company and had credit checks etc and now going through tescos, but the more search’s you have the more it goes against you…just keep fingers crossed for me…please ;) xx

    Fingers crossed for you!!

No it was the company MYA put me in touch with…If you can’t get a response I would write a letter to the Managing Director complaining…especially if you haven’t had your money back too. Also see if they are regulated by the FSA and tell them you will write and complain to them too – AND (I’ve worked on a complaints team!!) if they have a complaints procedure, tell them you will refer the complaint to the Omburdsman!! Everytime a complaint gets referred to the Omburdsman it costs the company

God what a bummer!! just keep trying, i got let down by the first 2 companies then went to Tesco’s who were good, but cancelled with them as just before i begged, begged and cried to my boyfriend, and he got me the loan in his name!!.

I know what you mean though! its such a let down, but im sure it will work out for you in the end, my surgeon was telling me i may need to wait december time or next year! i was gutted, cos of me having a baby etc! but i now have a different surgeon who has agreed to do it sept 14th, so im so happy!.

In reply to: I have a really posh 60th b-day party 7 days after my op!

    Menu

I had a hen party 10 days after my op. I managed to find a classy dress that covered my top half so I was still able to wear my sports bra, I chose one that focused more on my legs! I still had a few drinks and a danced the night away with the girls, I was just super careful I didnt knock myself or over do it! Infact I really enjoyed the night and was pain free.

When I came home from having my BA I was dreading the hen party thinking I would be in pain but by time it came I was feeling great and enjoyed dressing up :)

Find a outfit you can keep a sports bra on so that you feel supported and just see how you go, by then hopefully you should be well enough!

Hi, im exactly the same. Im having mine done on the Wed, on the sat we are having a big leaving party for my sister as she and her partner are going travelling round the world for 12 months. This is a full blown evening thing, with a hired room. My sis has bought herself a really nice dress etc. I will be 3 days post op, will feel ill prob, have a very flattering sports bra on etc… Plus i have 2 children under 2 to have to get ready and take there, which is normally a handfull in itself. Can you not drink either? is it because of the tablets? xx

Kiarah – I didnt have any bruising on my chest, just a very light coloured one at the side on my ribs which went within a few days! Antibiotics your not supposed to drink on them however I was only on them for 5 days, so you should be off them by then!

Lucyloo – 3 days post op and having such a big party, I feel for you lol. I remember 3 days post op I wasnt feeling great, drousy due my pain meds and very emotional. Its also difficult to style your hair due to not being able to lift. Just ensure you dont over do it hun!

    Good evening,
I had my BA last friday with Mr Singh.
I was strapped up for 4 days and put my sports bra on yesterday.
I have had no bruising and no pain just alittle discomfort. I have had a couple of glasses of wine on my antibiotics. I haven’t need the pain killers since the second night.
    Enjoy the parties.

    Hi
I had my BA 7 days ago – I have no bruising, I feel well in myself, I CAN drink, it’s only a 5 day course of antibiotics and I didn’t need painkillers after day 2!
    You will be fine
My only advice is when buying a dress be carefull if it’s an ‘over the head’ one as I still find lifting my arms straight up difficult.
    Have fun x

    Charlotte,

I am currently same size as you but empty after breastfeeding (all 3 weeks that I managed it for 5 years ago!!!!!) I thought I would need uplift, but I am having 410 overs with no uplift. The surgeon said that with this size implant, it will lift them anyway :)

    kerry x

thanks for thereply hun. what size do they think you will be? as it is i will be so so stretched paying for it. so if i need an uplift it
will be totally out of my price range :(
i have consultation with dr adamo in bham end of the month so fingers crossed i dont need uplift

Not sure what size as people with same stats seem to range from D to FF???? Doxtor cant guarantee a size :( I will let you know next week when they are done as to what they seem like to start with. Hopefully a DD or E and I will be happy:)

oh thanks hunni i really appreciate that! i would love to be an e or f
i dont know if i have the skin for it i dont want to look fake!
yeh plzz do let me know what they say about it!
    fingers crossed for you! xx

What size did you go to when feeding?? I went to a large E so the Dr said I could have gone with a bigger implant. Once they have stretched big, they will stretch again easy so you should be ok x

oh thats good hun! i was when my boobs were really engorged i was wearing a 34dd bra and that was tight! i loved them that big, i really miss them! :p so i would say i was an e!

i just want the boobs to look natural and not be able to see outline of implant! xx

Hi Charlie, I’m currently an empty d, I also breastfed and was an f when I did. I was recommended 350cc low profile overs which would take me to a dd but I’m seeing Mr Adamo end of the month also for a second opinion.

hey rio cheers for your post hunni! im seeing mr adamo at the end of the month too so we can compare notes :P
i hope i dont need uplift!
did they say you need an uplift?
    xx

    Hi hun

I was a 34c/d had 525cc and now im a f/ff. cant help with the uplift though cos i never had one. x

oh coool cos i wana be at least an e!
wana get my moneys worth lol
    did u breastfeed nikki?
    xx

    Anonymous

    hey

No I didnt breastfeed havnt had any children lol. But my boobs had lost all the fullness at the top due to weigh gain/loss over the pass few years so I wanted the fullness back and I wanted at lest an E. If your starting from a C you will easily get to an E or probs an F with 525cc. Are you having high profiles or mods? x

    Hi,

I am an Empty 32A/B, i breast fed 2 kids, they are just skin. Im having 460 hp overs. I do not need an uplift. x x

ohhh thanks girls im hoping i dont need an uplift i dont look down and think i need an uplift! nikki i havent had consultation with surgeon yet but had appt with my pc and they had the basket of boobies and i liked the 525 size!
i hope i have the skin to have thm! xxx

Hi Charlie, no I don’t need an uplift hun, I think they measure from your collarbone to your nipple or something to determine whether you’ll need one or not. I agree with Nikki that you should easily get an E with that implant. Definitely let me know how you get on with Mr Adamo, I’ll look forward to hearing from you!

Hi girls-I have been asking the same question for ages!:)I used to be a full d cup/dd then in my last pregnancy went over and e cup but after feeding my fourth child and losing weight I am now a very empty b cup-I hate them.I went to harley who refused to operate til6months after I finished feeding and said I was borderline on needing an uplift. They said that having an implant would pull my breasts more so sag more so would defo need uplift if wanted an implant. They said my left nipple was right on the crease under the breast-if it is under you defo need uplift, on crease is borderline, above crease be okay without-my right boob above.I went to initial consultation with mya and they didn’t look at boobs but told me to measure from the collerbone to the nipple-if it was more than21cm I would need uplift, on 21cm is borderline and less is no need for implant. My left is21cm , right 20 cm so showed same results as how harley street work it out.I have appt with Dr.Singh in Sept and I am hoping he says he can help without uplift as I can’t afford it and I don’t want the scarring.I think I would like to see Dr.Adamo aswell to see who I feel most comfortable with and if both think the same.I am seeing mybreast in a couple of weeks and possiblysurgicare if I haven’t made a choice easily.
One girl I spoke to on here was borderline for uplift and mya did her surgery without uplift, just b/a and she is fine-I did hear of a story telling the opposite reult-a girl who’s boobs are now much saggier and far too big after not having an uplift so I am trying to search for more positive tales!!Sonia xx

Anyone else told they were borderline and managed to get a good surgeon to fix them with a b/a alone-no uplift?Would really appreciate thoughts/advice and recommendations for surgeons. Thanks x

Hi there!” i am having an uplift and implant with Transform.

Transform recommened an uplift to me as ive had two kids, so my boobs droop and my nipple hangs lower.
Mya may charge different but transform charge

    hey janeyh!
thanks for posting sweet! even if i could afford uplift if they said i neeed uplift id probably leave it as i want more kids and want to breastfeed.
will be gutted if thts the case!
fingers crossed! hwehn you booked in for hun?
    hope it goes well xxx

    Charlotte,

Had my BA on Tuesday. 410cc overs no uplift. I must say that i cannot believe what he has managed to do with them without uplift. They are like when I was 18!!!!
Hope everything goes ok for you and you manage without the lift. I imagine it would be uncomfortable with a lift as well. I can feel no pain at all, its amazing!!!
    Kerry x

Hiya, I had a consultation with Surgicare last year and was told i was borderline for having an uplift. I then saw Mr Mahdi at Mya Manchester and he said i could have implants without an uplift but recommended a nipple lift because the implants would have pushed my nipples down further. I booked my op with Mr Madhi and had 525cc implants and a nipple lift in April. He lifted one by around 1.4cm and the other 2cm because they were uneven. The scars are minimal (just a tiny crescent on the top) and my nipples are where they should be and where they were before I had my 2 children!! In fact they look perfect! I am now a 36F and absoloutely love my new boobs. When I asked for prices it should have been

Hi Amy when i came for my consultation i asked Mr Singh about this and he said to lose the weight first before the operation. I asked him why and he told me it may alter the shape of my breasts, so i would check first.

hi i lost alot of weight before my op, thats a reason why i had them done, i actually asked my surgeon what would happen if i put weight back on, he said they would just fill out a bit more but nothing dramatic, so i think if you dont loose too much it wont matter, it will be your own breast tissue that will alter so it will be minimal really..x
