Wow, congrats to jaks and Kerry!

Well bex, Mr Adamo originally said to me that 380ccs were best for me, BUT I met a lady the other day who had 380ccs and tbh I thought she was quite small! So I rang my PC today and requested that they order me 410 cc aswell so that Mr Adamo can decide on the day of the op which ones to use. I really don’t want to come out disappointed with my size! I’m 32a/b at the moment, size 6-8 and 5ft 3, and I’m hoping for a D cup at least really!

Hi Bex and Gemma!! Very true Bex, I will wait to see what Mr Adamo decides on the day. After all I’ve heard a lot about some people’s boobs getting smaller due to the decrease in swelling, so I wouldn’t want to get excited about how big they are and then a few months down the line, they’re half the size!!! So 410cc is what I’m hoping for!! My Op is on the 16 Sept hun, 3 weeks today!

Yes Gemma, the 410cc is the next one up from 380cc, I think from what Mr Adamo said, the implant would be more visible the bigger you have, as you have to fit more under the tissue!

I don’t want it to show too much more but I just don’t want to have smaller boobs than I am hoping for! if you get what I mean!!

god its so confusing! who’d of thought there wold be so many choices how to have your boobs looking! hahaha

I’m sticking with my 380 one side and 410 the other (abnormal or what!!) lol pretty sure that i’ll be at least a d from that, hope so anyway!!! xx

Yeah sooooo confusing!! lol. It would be good if we could adjust our own sizes when we wanted, almost like inflatable boobs!! haha, when we want them bigger, just blow them up, and smaller, deflate them and plug the hole! haha

You’re not abnormal, everyone has different sized boobs!!

just an update to let you know that my boobs don’t seem so scarily big now. They have softened loads already and look quite normal!!! They are not sitting as high as they were and think I will be able to change to a 34DD or E bra in the next day or two.

hey girls, im having my BA on 14th oct (YAY).
i have been backward and forward to mya as i couldnt make up my mind! i originally chose 340cc under, not happy with those so went back to see mr Adamo last thursday and have now gone for 410 overs.i have been tryin puty on a little bit of weight so i had more breast tissue and it worked !
i want a D at least so going for the bigger ones 410.
i did so much research and found loads of negative comments on sizes post op with what i had originally chosen nd girls with same stats as me.
Im 32a/aa 5’8 size 8-10. i want a D cup and mr Adamo said 410 would be best but they will be rounder and more visable which is fine by me lol!
i cant wait now i been waiting since May! not long now WOOP WOOP

Thanks. the whole thing has been great. had a bit of pain for the first time yesterday when the nurse chenged the dressing, but think the cleaning stuff didn’t agree with my skin!!!! All back to normal now…it was the first lot of pain killers had to take!!!! All settling nice now and wearing a 34E bra, the 36E went a bit too big x

I am really confused girls and its great to read all your posts. I went to see Mr Adamo and he suggested teardrop 360/380 can’t quite remember the exact size (I am a C saggy). I thought they looked a bit big but he said they would be fine. Firsty I am worried about them being overs – cos people say you can see the ridge and secondly when I told a friend about the size she nearly had a heart attack. I initially said to Mr A that I wanted them to be a pert C and he reckons they’ll end up a D, but I really really don’t want to be bigger than a D! Can you girls give advice on the overs bit. In the bra they looked massive – do they really end up looking as big as the implant in the bra or a bit smaller? I have done the rice test and it also seems ginormous……………x

I had 410 overs, look fabulous already! Its only been 6 days, they look so natural. I was very swollen, still have some swelling and bruising but it was all worth it.
Mr Adamo recommended 410 overs for me and initially I thought they would be too big. However, I went with Mr Adamo’s recommendation as he really does know best. And he was right, I’m currently a 32D/DD and went from a 32B. I look so much more proportionate than I did before and have had hardly any pain, just discomfort which is gradually subsiding. I love my new body!

Ahhh good luck! You’ll be just fine, I was so scared!!! But they look amazing! I really can’t believe how natural they look after only 6 days! My recovery is going really well, going for my post op appointment tomorow so hoping I’ll get a peek at my wounds.
I have no regrets at all and neither will you xx

It is exciting stuff! I wish I hadn’t let my nerves get in the way on the day and just let myself get excited! I was so scared and it seems so silly now haha. I’ll keep you posted on recovery and stuff xx

Wow!!! You ladies are getting me even more excited!! I have one week and one day left to wait til I get mine!! I really hope Mr A will let my have the 410ccs instead of the 380ccs now! Especially hearing your story joworrow!!! I’m the same stats as you were pre-op (32a/b) so fingers crossed I’ll be allowed the 410’s!!!

Clark, I haven’t had my ba yet but just like you I don’t want to end up enormous and the implant in the bra and rice test are both way bigger than I can carry off so even though I’m prepared to trust Mr Adamo’s judgement, I’m still nervous xxx

Just an update on progress. I am 2 weeks post op today still feel great, can’t understand what I was worrying about before the op. Had no pain. Had dressings changed last week and the scar is just a purple line. Had bit of discomfort after the nurse did this, but not too bad. I was and empty 32C before, had 410cc overs and now swelling has gone down I am a 34E!!!!!

Clare, I was also a 32b and had 410 overs put in. I am 5’1″ and a size 8 and I look very much in proportion. I haven’t had myself measured but I fit into 32d and dd bras. All shops are different so I don’t know my actual size yet but trust me, they don’t look too big, mine don’t even look fake! Its only been 6 days! x

I am 5’6″ and a size 8. Mine look fine and not too big (they look big compared to before!!!!) I was a 32 back and at first went up to a 36E which was a bit scary but settled to a 34E now. Can’t wait to get measured properly.

You will love them and you’d be gutted if you went smaller! They will look massive at first and may look far apart but already mine are settling into their new home nicely 🙂

Hi Queenie, I had breast reduction last year and 100% trusted my surgeon. The scarring will depend on the type of procedure you are considering (i.e, an implant or a reduction etc). During my initial consultation, my coordinator at MYA showed me pictures of pre and post operations and the scarring from 2 weeks to 12 months. This gave me a good idea of what to expect and helped with my decision. The consultations are free, really helpful and the coordinators are professional and supportive. One bit of advice I would give regarding scarring if you do go ahead, is to listen to the advice you are given regarding rest following the operation. It is so important that you have complete rest (even if you are not feeling any pain) in order to minimise scar tissue. This really will make a difference to the scar in the end. My op changed my life completely thanks to MYA who really do “make you amazing” !!! Get yourself booked in for a consultation, they wont pressure you at all and its free!

I had 340ccs and the scar was very small. I had them replaced with 700cc’s , the surgeon opened up the same incision but the scar is longer in length now. I would imagine the bigger the implant the bigger the scar but not sure as this was just what I found in my case. Healing well though which I’m pleased about but definately longer by at least another inch . With the 340cc’s the scar was very hidden under the natural crease of my bust but now it has definately moved up slightly with the larger 700cc and I can see it a bit more. I feel it maybe more of the size of CC or proceedure you are having (up lift / Reduction) etc in relation to scarring. Surgeons try to minimise scarring as much as they can but sometimes its not always possible to have hardly visible scars . xxx

Thanks for all your comments ladies. It was implants that the question was referring to but any info is great! I sort of assumed that would be the case ie the bigger the implant, the bigger the scar. And aftercare would def be one to watch for

I am booked to go to spain for 12 nights on 1st september and I have been told I will be fine. Missmanace can I ask I am 10 days post op now and I am still having a lot of pain although am starting to feel a little more normal. I get stabbing in the chest and it hurts at the side and where my scars are, also they still feel like I have 2 melons stuck to my chest. -especially when I wake up – am I normal

pussycat – I wouldnt worry about it! Im 13 days post op, although im not in pain constantly. Odd times iv been having aches/pains especially near my scar. Mornings are always worse however it only lasts for about 5 mins. I was told by my nurse these odd pains and wierd sensations are all normal. My nipples are VERY sensitive atm 🙁

Did you have overs or unders? I had overs and I dread to think what the pain feels like with unders!

My swellings gone however they still dont squish together but they are getting there slowly, cant wait for them to soften properly. They have dropped and dont look ott anymore. Everyones different though hun your prob still swallon.

Ah thanks I had unders 500cc low profile so quite big and I was a 34a so maybe its the stretching but I got a bit worried my body may not like them cos in pain and tight all the time. Also are you scared to do things you know picking light things up or not over stretching think im paranoid. My consultant has done a mega job they look fantastic but obviously no one knows how each person will react, maybe im a wimp but im not usually. Think i will just have to persevere. Going to see consultant tomorrow so hopefully he will know if there is going to be a problem.. hope not i will be gutted. thanks for your help anything else you know please advise – thanks alot:sad:

It might be to do with having big implants from a 34a. I started from a full 34c and had 380cc overs, so I had alot of breast tissue already and im guessing they havent stretched as much as yours. That alone would make it more painful x

It’s annoying when they do that because you get all excited because you know the date, and then it changes!!! grr.

Hi Kelly….I have Mr Traynor too but I’m staying overnight.
I was excited….now I’m nervous…it feels a bit surreal. This message board has helped me so much though and I like reading all the girls stories to see how they’ve coped.
I’m having 380 overs….Currently a B so will roughly be a DD (I hope as I don’t want them massive!!!)

Yes i dont want to be too big obviously i want to be bigger but not too big, d/dd ound great but some people on here have mentioned they are an E cup and jesus tht cares the shit out of me, i men going from being flt chested to wow!!! i suppose you would get used to them in time but i want mine to look more natural.

Im 34b/c at the moment and having 380cc overs also and cannot wait, ive taken before pics and they look rubbih so i cannot wait for my new boobies hehe.

after reading everyones thoughts on sizes i am a little undecided on the size i want now, all comments are of people with petite frames and it got me thinking, i am a size 12 top and having 380cc overs i am now concerned that they wont look that great and after all i am paying alot of money so should i consider the 410cc?

any thoughts people please as it is only 3 weeks till my surgery?!?!?!?!?!?!

ahh thanks bex just wasnt sure as the 380cc rice test looks good to me but was not sure.

gonna do the test with 410 just to see what the difference is.

well it was my choice as i got married on 10th July and didnt want them before the wedding as i was flying away for 3 weeks after and the pc advised i wouldnt be able to fly so soon after, so hence the length i waited but im sure it will be worth it hehe.

3 weeks and counting, just done the rice test gain and 380cc looks fab so gonna stay with that for now lol

I didnt get accepted either – they told me yes and then at the last stage told me no – luckily a family member is lending me the money.

I applied online, and then one someone rang me to say whether I was accepted or not! Just type First Medical Loans into Google, then you can apply online. You could also ring your PC to see what she would advise too! Hope this helps!

I’m staying in overnight THIS Wednesday, and my admission time isn’t untill 2pm so that means i may not have my op till 3pm or 4pm

From what i’ve read, if you are a daycase, you seem to be the first in at 7.30am and have your op first thing too. That gives you all day before you are discharged. xx
