hi KT
im only 2days post op so i have to say im not 100% comfy or anything BUT im not as nearly uncomfy as i thought i would be, every1 is different but i personally feel ok. im not sleeping sitting up, but ive got two pillows that i rest my back on and im using the recliner sofa coz its like a hospital bed and so easy to change ur position during sleep so i prefer that to the bed. id say im kind of leaning back when i sleep but not 100% flat on my back. the swelling isnt so bad either, the implants are a bit hard to the touch and kind of defying gravity perfectly at the mo.lol but not too bad, it takes a few days to a few weeks to be able to get the final result and for the implants to drop a bit and soften up. i was assured by mr adamo that the basketball look is not permanent. so dont worry, ull be fine!
i also have no bruising or excessive pain or stretch marks or anything else that worried me b4 hand.lol hope this helps.

Hi Jacqui-I just read that you breastfed 3 children- I have fed 4 and Harley street said I am borderline for needing an uplift.Did you have an uplift or just implants? We can’t afford uplift so I am praying that Dr.Singh thinks it is possible to create what I want with just a B/A.
Princess-thank you for writing that it is well worth the wait and money-I have waited15years and am still feeling very guilty about spending that amountof money on myself-though i am sure my hubby will enjoy it too once he sees how much confidence I will have compared to now-I won’t let him near me at mo.
KT-Who are you having your surgery with?
sonia xx
hi sonia
no problem, i really do think its worth it. dont feel guilty, i know u have a family and its harder for u than for me to spend that amount of money on urself, im not a mum but i know a happier more confident mum means happier kids and hubby so good luck and enjoy it!

Oh thanks Maya, I just wish my hubby was a little more encouraging but think it cos it is his money we are using. His mum gave it to him last year and after he paid off the 15k he was in debt by he had a little left over.We have no other savings so I feel bad and worry he will resent me for it.I will try chat it through with him again. Thanks for your words of support xx
its definately the best idea to talk it out with him, uve carried 4kids and no doubt it would have taken its toll on ur body and ur mind, this will help u physically and emotionally improve, i really doubt he would resent u for trying to restore ur confidence and happiness by doing this BA. u know him and ur relationship best but from a 3rd person’s point of view, u have nothing to feel guilty about! try to keep a positive attitude and show him what this means to u, if he sees u happy then hell be happy. he wouldnt have agreed to this in the first place if deep down he didnt want u to go ahead?! be excited and put negative thoughts out of ur mind, sounds to me like u diserve it!

Hi Soniarobin,
In answer to your question, although i have breast fed 3 children, i am very fortunate that the shape of my breasts are still quite good (probably because they are not very big, and i’ve been quite lucky and never put much weight on, apart from being pregnant and then only putting on a max of a stone each time) and therefore i don’t need an uplift as well. I’m having 380cc overs, on 19th August. I’m a 36 small B at the moment, and been told that this should take me to a D cup. I’m sure that your hubby will be over the moon when you get it done! Although my hubby says he is quite happy with the way i am now, i know that he is looking forward to me being a bit bigger!!!
Hi Maya,
hope that things are still going well with you? Are you still sports bra free? How’s the sleeping going?
Hope that you are still resting lots
xx
hi jacqui
im doing good thank u….sleep is getting easier each night although im normally so active and finding this resting period soooooo hard.lol miss the gym and full shopping days out
the itching is killing me but hey at least im healing…so im trying not to complain.lol the implants have started making random noises, my pc says its normal and its because theyr dropping and softening up…so far so good. how are u? not long left for u now! xx
hi KT
no he told me not to wear one if i dont feel i need it so 5days post op and i havnt worn one yet.
maya
xx
hey kt
no im still not using mine.hehehe…..i bought one from M&S for 20pounds and still have it just incase but havent used it yet…..i think ill keep it for when i can go back to the gym…..i have very long hair too and my sister helped me wash it, i dont think u can wash it on ur own yet…..we can take a shower on day 10 i think so for now im making do with shallow baths and one hair washing session
grose i know.lol its really really important to keep ur stiches dry to prevent infection so make sure u get as much help as u can with bathing and washing ur hair. its not too bad though…buy some baby whipes .
maya
xxxx
haha, I was thinking of buying some just in case, probably from asda though!! lol. Well, I think my bf will have to help!! haha. I think thats going to be a real pain, just because my hair is about 25 inches long (just measured it!) lol, and I wash it every other day!!! grr. Thank you for your advice though, at least I know what to do now! lol. I wish they would invent some sort of boob container for the shower!! lol coz then all you would have to do is strap them on, and have a shower as normal then take them off and wash your boobs separately!! haha

hi girls

James Brown dry shampoo the best dry shampoo I have found, better than baptiste but bit more pricey. Thanks Jacqui and Maya for your advice xx
hi sonia
no problem, like jacqui said, were all here to help eachother…..as u know my surgeon was mr adamo and after my 1st consultation with him i made up my mind that i wanted him to do my ba! hes so nice and trustworthy…..so i defo recommend him. as a patient, its ur right to have as many consultations as u like with whoever u want at mya so make use of it. u can also request a consultation with mr adamo and then make a decision.. i went from a b to dd/e so mr adamo does that size too…..also not all surgeons use dissolvable stiching and i asked my pc specifially for some1 who DID use them, that automatically eliminated some surgeons off my list….i asked for this as i had red somwhere that dissolvable stiching gave better results and also reduced the risk of infection….its a personal choice though…..

Hi Sonia
Re: Mr Adamo – before i went for my very first consultation with my pc, i had already been on this forum for weeks, and had read everyones storys. I decided that i wanted to see Mr Adamo, because of all the good reviews i had read about him (although lots of the other surgeons also had great reviews too). I asked to have a consultation with him, and decided there and then at my consultation with him, that i wanted him to do my surgery. He just made me feel very comfortable, and that’s the most important thing.
You may have to see two or three surgeons, before you make your mind up, or decide on the first one you see.
Good luck, and don’t feel rushed into making a decision before you want to.
xx
girlies
just to let u know if u would like to see mr adamo u can call mya and ask for nadja who was my patient coordinator and tell her i recommended you, as i have asked her if thats ok with her and shes confirmed shell be more than happy to help u guys to make a decision on surgeons, implants sizes etc…. i strongly recommend her as she is truely great and made my experience very very enjoyable and stress free! hope this is of some help to u guys.

Oh Princess Maya-you star:)My pc with MYA is Samantha, I live near High Wycombe so went for my initial consultation at Watford. She said Dr.Singh but Dr.Adamo would also be a good choice for me if can’t get to see Dr.Singh.I will phone and ask to see both-trouble is I have to travel in and out of London all the time and have to get my hubby to have a day off each time and I really need his days off for when I get op done-if!Does anyone know at what point they say you need an uplift?I remember Harley said it when your nipple as low as the crease in your breast/underarm and with one boob I was just on it, other one okay but they said would need it.MYA said I could measure myself-sumet bowt 21cm??But forgotten if it from shoulder or coller bone and if it was over21cm/21cm or more-anyone any idea?Thank you.
Jacqui, I will go see Mybreast soon and the surgeon I see at initial consultation would be the guy doing op so i will know if like them , then I think I will see both Dr.Adamo and Singh with MYA and maybe Harley aswell but all this travel is costing a fortune:(
Thank you all again for your advice and support xx
no problem hun! give a them a call and book a free consult! sorry i dont know anything about uplifts

was a 32b before my first op and that was 9 yrs ago, want to be a e/f but no bigger x
Hiya. I had 700ccs with my 2nd BA.
I was a 32a and had 340ccs under the muscle with my 1st BA this took me to a 32c/32d. I then had these replaced with 700ccs which has taken me to a 32f again these were under the muscle. However they do not look like a 32f more of a dd/e. I feel that because I had them under the muscle they are slighly hidden and do not look their true size. If I’d have had the room I would have gone bigger. The 700ccs are just bigger in circumference and not particularly outwards. I would imagine if you were a 32d with 300ccs then you may have had a bigger bust than what i had to start with (32a), so a 700cc may look bigger on you. Also if you have the 700cc over the muscle I would imagine the implant will look slighly bigger than having under. Hope this helps xx
Thanks emma, im just so confused as i want to be an f cup but just think maybe i should go for the 615cc. My husband would go mad if i came home with gg, he only thinks im having 480cc ha ha x
thanks laura for that message it really helps me!! so i know whats going on and how everything is, well done for getting them done any regrets??? i want mine done so badly got a appointment to talk and get info xxwell done againxx
Thanks Bex……yes its exciting, just dont waste time being nervous before hand there is no point, im still in shock how its not such a big deal!? i made myself feel sick with nerves and i havent stopped smiling yet! im SO SO pleased with them!!
Leanne: they feel very very hard and high at the minute i have no bandages just a plaster on each cut….i wouldnt say sore at the minute i just feel very aware of them…if that makes sense. last night i slept on my back with a v shape pillow propping me up and i slept all night fine! it is a bit uncomfortable but seriously they are gorgeous! its soo worth it! wish id done it years ago! lol ask as many questions as u like this forum was so helpful for me its nice to be able to do the same for other ppl! although ive been told its the 3rd and 4th days that hurt the most and i only got them yesterday but i will keep u posted! the most painful bit so far was telling my uncle who wants to kill me now! lol il just dodge him for a while! hee hee!! when you having yours done?? i was a day case aswell so i didnt have to stay over nite? have you been on the discount site thing?? it gets u 500pound off!!! xx
Thanks for that – you sound really pleased so thats good!!!
I’m glad you’re happy with them too and I’m glad I haven’t read anything negative!!! It’s a big thing but yeah, I’m wishing now I’d arranged to have mine done years ago. I’ve always wanted them and even though most of my friends and family don’t agree, I’ve decided to just go for it and I really can’t wait!!
I’m having a 380 too and I’m a B so similar to you (was told they would roughly be a DD)
I’m penciled in for the 22nd Sept coz I don’t have my deposit until next week…but I was told that date should be fine. I’m going to stay overnight, which i’m not too bothered about, and yes, I got the
Hi Jamie
I had mine done on Monday and also had 380cc overs. I feel slightly uncomfortable but not in pain and I absolutly love them
cant wait to be able to try on bikinis etc
Im trying to take it easy this week and not do much. How are you finding your mobility? Are you able to use your arms alot?
x
Hi Jamie
It was really lovely to ready your story, and my day cant come quick enough its all i think about!! Im booked in with Mr Adamo at Highgate on the 2nd Sept. Im having 460cc. I wanted to ask how you are finding looking after your son? Ive got 2 children, my son has just turned 2 and ive got a little girl who has just turned 1. I am worried about looking after them, as i will need to lift them into the bath, the highchair, the cot etc.. My Mom and my husband both work for themselves so work long hours and cant afford to have the time off with me. So i will just be left to sort of get on with it. Just wondered how your getting on with it?xx
Wow Jamie!! You’ve made me even more excited now!!! (if that’s possible lol!) I am so happy to hear about your lovely story!! I am having 380cc overs too, starting at a B cup also! Thank you for sharing your story
) cannot wait now!!!!! I have ages to wait though
( mine’s not until the 16th Sept!! I just want to get them over and done with, so they will be healed sooner!!!! lol
No doubt I’ll be picking your brains more as the days go on!!
Wendy

Oh my god, i really can’t wait now. I was a nervous wreck abit ago, mine are on the 28th this month so it’s getting close now and im still quite nervous but feel loads better after hearing stories like yours. Although i didn’t know anything about a discount site and getting
Hi missmanace,
Congrats on you rnew boobs!!
I’m getting mine done mext firday at highgate and can’t wait.
What size where you before? what c did you have?
wishing you a speedy recovery.
Suzanne x
hi missmanace
Thanks for sharing your experience its made me feel alot better mine is on friday. keep writing how you feel please oh what did you have by the way size etc and what were you before.
Thanks sarah_x, how are feeling after 3 weeks? Im so shocked at the rate they are softening and dropping
its amazing. Im going to take pictures daily because there changing very fast!
At first they were very hard due to swelling and went more to my armpits but today (Thursday) they are much softer and have dropped more to the middle

Suzzane – I started off a 34 c/d cup and had 380cc overs! I had alot of natural breast tissue and although I dont know my size now they are perfect, look very natural and big yet they fit my frame which is what I wanted!
I will keep you all updated I know my story was abit long but these storys really helped me! Wierd as this may sound the whole anaesthetic process was nice, I loved the feeling of going under (Katie Price also said this about her BA) I would do it all again lol.
Good luck with your ops girls, your going to be very happy
hey,
it will all depend if you surgeon is available on that day, and if he is at the clinic your going to to get operated on, cuz the surgeons dont stick to one hospital. theyre always moving around to different clinics.
with your check up, that should be fine! youll only be going to see the nurse for the first check up anyway! after 6 weeks is when you have to go see your surgeon.
xx
some people might go out after a week, but im 3 weeks post op now and theres no way im ready to go out! mainly cuz ive got a bit of a complication with my righty atm! i overdid it in work and now the the outer end of right incision has opened and is weeping slightly! so im still healing! id say to give it atleast 3-4 weeks tho, cuz if you get knocked by sum drunken idiot or you attempt drunken dancing (lol) you might end up ripping ur scars! my lefty is fab but still very tender!
its really killing me not being able to go out! im a student and used to going out like 3 times a week lol! so its difficult! but better to be safe than sorry i suppose!
xx
ye definetly not worth risking it!
ye ive been stressing sooo much about this bloody scar! its healing! slooooowly! i was just lifting heavy things too soon! regret it now! ive not told anyone in work and dont intend to. ive just said ive hurt my back, so no lifting for a while!
xx
hey jessie!
congrats on your new boobies
its totally normal for your boobs to be that way at the mo. it can take weeks for the swelling to go down, so dont worry! the hot feeling didnt last too long with me, i think its just cuz the skins soo tight! so that should in a few days once your skin starts stretching! try bio oil, i strating using it from about day 3 post op and its been wonderful! soothing and no stretchmarks yet!
happy healing!
sarah xx
Hi Sarah,
thanks for that, i just wasnt sure what i was experiencing was normal or not… yea i am going to buy bio oil tomoz, do i just rub it all over my chest area, and keep in away from the dressings??
yea im so happy with my new boobies i cant wait for a holiday now, so i can wear a bikni and show them off, i am getting married sept 2010 and im really excited about trying on dresses, but i defo dnt want stretch marks!! so fingers crossed the bio oil works..

Hi ,
I had my ba 3 weeks ago ,and so far i am pleased with the result ,i had loose skin due to weight lose so the implant has filled the skin out .I think having this op should be realistic with the results ,if you havent got perfect boobs before the op you wont have after. However mine are 80% better then before and i am happy with thr result.
My op was no where near half as bad of what i expected ,infact the experiance was nice .The only thing i had was a bad reaction to the antibiotics and i was sooooo sick and had to stop taking them. But all is well and i am healing fine My surgon was Mr Traynor and i would recomend him to enyone ,if you listen to their advice on what not to do you will be fine i know its a hard desicion to make as its a operation at the end of the day.
good luck and let me know what you decide kerry x
it was the best thing I have ever done! I cant imagine not having mine now! mya were wicked from start to finish and my surgeon was amazing. much better than anywhere else I went to see. you will be fine hun and you will love them xxx
I was the same as you kellg
you have to be very careful with the antibiotics and painkillers, if it wasn’t for that i would have had an ace recovery but i had a day of being violently sick and it was awful, never take them on an empty stomach as that is what sets it off
i dont regret having them done i just wish they we’re bigger, i think when you have them done you tend to be even more critical of your breasts, i know i was and now they just feel normal, still feels odd when i bend down sometimes though as you can sort of feel them come forward, but other than that it was great
im 9weeks post op and no regrets!! i love them realli natural loooking
x
I really want a B/A , have done for over15years.I have breastfed 4 children so you can imagine what state my boobs are in:(My sister is very angry with me for wanting this done and my hubby isn’t overly happy, though I think that is more to do with the cost rather than the moral issue.I so want to feel better about myself but it is such an awful lot of money when we don’t have it surplus and we have four kids to spend it on.What does anyone else think?Should I try and go for it?I hate myself and have no sexual relationship with my hubby cos of it now.Any advice, ideas , thoughts on the matter gratefully heard.Sonia xx
FOO-Have you decided to go ahead?Who with?
In reply to soniarobin, I have decided to have ba since my sister had hers last year. Only finally got to see the result last month & they are amazing…….she has breastfed 7 kids, so really was up for one & has been flat chested in between babies.
I have fed 3 kids & although I am small and not lost much shape they definately change after feeding (apart from the changes elsewhere!). I also have struggled with the moral aspect and as a single parent also worried about the message I was giving my kids. I have opted for 340 high with Mr Adamo, am 5ft 3 and 9.5 stone sho should not be too notcieable but an improvement, let alone the confidence boost.
I have paid & am booked for 26th Aug…….now I am apprehensive!!
