Did you apply for finance with the company MYA recommended? We applied with my partners earnings of over 50k and were rejected as we had just taken out a car on finance too close to our application! Went to the bank and got a loan and were cleared straight away and it works out over £1000 cheaper with interest. Hope this helps x

I had the exact dilemma and decided “I would rather think they are a bit big than a bit small” after paying for a boob job! And I’m so glad I went 425cc

I wore plastic bars in my nipples, just had to sign a consent form that I was aware of the risks. It’s basically up to your surgeon- I had dr Andrea Giannitrapani

From a store. I got two different ones; one is entirely white and the other has a bit of pink with black straps. I personally prefer the all white one. It was £22 I believe.

In reply to: Bloating, when does it end??

    Menu

Thanks Hannah. I think it’s exaggerated because I bloat normally. Just hard to maintain posture with the strain on my shoulders/ back with the band etc. Can’t wait for it to go so I can see the full effect of my new boobs!

Thanks Helen! 🙂 glad to know it will go x

In reply to: How long for stretch marks to go

    Menu

My boobs were covered in awful purple stretch marks after having my little girl. I went from a B to a DD. I hated them, I used bio oil and they faded to a few white ones after about 6 months. I always knew they were there but my fiancé said he didn’t notice them. I know how confidence destroying stretch marks can be but they will fade. I know you can have laser treatment but not sure if it’s the same after surgery. X

They look amazing! Thank you for sharing that it does get better. I’m 3 days post op and not loving it right now.

Thank you Hannah, sorry you’ve had such a stressful time of it! I wish they could give some insight after surgery. It constantly feels like burning underneath my breasts. I have an M&s one size 34e but think I’m going to get a 36e to see how it fits x

I’m finding it so hard being so useless. I hate not being able to cuddle my little girl or my fiancé. I feel so tense and the back pain is awful. I can barely sleep at night which is making my mood worse. Just can’t wait until I can do stuff for myself, I’m hoping I’ll be fine when I go back to work

I agree my left feels more sore and more fragile than the right. Had a lot of pain on top this morning but an ice pack has helped a lot.

6 weeks seems so long! Did you find it more comfortable having the band on top of the sports bra? Thank you girls

In reply to: What could you do after op day?

I’m day 2 post op. Had unders. I’m in sports bra and strapping.
I feel able to wander around the house with my painkillers, I’m also setting an alarm in the night to take them to avoid waking in agony. I have an 18 month old and she’s been bringing me pillows and cuddling my leg as she understands mummy is fragile. My fiancé has waited on me hand and foot, I couldn’t do it without him! He’s helped me wash and done my hair which has helped me feel better. My mother in law is having my little one tomorrow and she’s in nursery Tuesday. So I can rest up for my post op on Thirsday x

    Menu

Hi amy! I’ve had the same size of implant. Have you been given strapping or breast band? I’m in a breast band and finding that agony

In reply to: 2days post op 450 high profile under the muscle

    Menu

Again, haven’t really got any advice. I think most of the pain is from the tightness of the band more than the breasts themselves. A hot water bottle on my back is helping a lot. Going to try ice packs on the tops of my breasts today. X

I’ve had 425cc hp round unders. I was offered 375/400/425. I read on here that girls have wished they went bigger which swayed me last minute! But so so glad I did I had my op today so will post photos in the next few days

My admission was 9am. I went down at 11:30 and had about a 15 minute wait from there once downstairs. I was back in the room around 2:30. And haven’t been discharged yet. Hope this helps x

01216475270 is the direct number if you don’t have it already. My communications via Birmingham weren’t very good once I’d paid either! The staff at the London hospital and my surgeon has made up for it though- thankfully!

I got mine the day before! Good luck.
Don’t worry about taking dressing gown or slippers as they provide these. Smacks for afterwards is good also, high energy stuff as you’ll feel tired. And don’t forget a phone charger 🙂

    In reply to: Nipple piercings

    Menu

I’ve just had my op today and my surgeon (dr giannitrapani) was happy for me to wear plastic nipple bars. Might be worth asking if you haven’t already; I just had to sign a disclaimer saying I understood they advise against it. As I had a minor op a few months ago and I had to re-pierce the one nipple when I came out of theatre. X
