Hi there – thanks for your story – this forum is a great way of finding out really silly questions, which you feel a wolly asking the surgeon about !
Here are my silly questions:
I have seen my surgeon, but am yet to book up my appointment, i am still debating on size and i also have some other niggling questions that i want to ask before i go ahead with it.
You mention in your story that your chest felt tight – is it just your skin that felt tight, or your chest, i.e. not being able to breath? i have a real phobia about being out of breath and not being able to breath and i want to prepare myself for everything that i might feel when i wake up, to save any panic-ing!! LOL
Also, do you know why they dont like you to get up after the surgery to go to the loo?? is this just because you are groggy from the aesthetic and they dont want you to fall?
You also say that you had no pain, thats good – your surgeon was obviously very gentle !! that was a question that i asked my surgeon – was the procedure quite soft, or are the implants really pushed in? But i was assured that it is quite a gentle operation – Phew !!
well thanks for sharing your story and i hope you are able to help me with my questions – take care

hi kelly, millie
I had my op the day after you millie with mr traynor!! I m glad you’re feeling good. Im seeing the nurse today for my dressings removed and hope my scars are neat like yours!Im 6 days post op now and feel great!
[kelly] The tight feeling in your chest is mainly the skin, but i have found that if i lay too flat down i will become short of breath and it feels like someone is sat on your chest!. Also The skin around my ribcage (Under my boobs) was really tight in the first couple of days after the op probably due to swelling, so i felt that i had to take quick short breaths or my chest would explode! It all calms down after the 3rd and 4th day post op (my worst day was the 3rd as the stronger painkillers had worn off by then and i was still in pain).
I think ur right about them wanting you stay in bed after the anathestic because you are groggy. I had to use a bedpan and it took me nearly 40mins to empty my bladder!!weird experience!lol. Also your blood pressure will be low after you’re op so the risk of falling is more likely if you get up too quickly…I fainted and fell when i went to the toilet in the night at the hospital as my blood pressure dropped so low so take it easy! hope that this helps!xx
Hi Natnoo,
I have been through all of that process so far! My consultation was in Bristol. When you attend, you will meet with your patient co-ordinator. they will talk you through the procedure and will tell you about the costing, and they will allow you to ask any questions you may have. Make sure you make a list of EVERYTHING you want to ask, I never did! Wished I did! They will talk you through finance options as well. You might be able to meet with the surgeon if they are there. Also if he has time. Once you have talked it through with the patient co-ordinator, you will be able to go away and think about if you want to go ahead. If you do decide then you will have to contact them and let them know. Which is when you will be offered a date for surgery. You will have to pay deposit (you can put down what you decide. Min is

Im sure i read somewhere that mya can arrange for some help with transport to and from hospital…I would try and get someone to stay with you for the first 24hrs as you’ll be having general anathestic and it can make you dizzy, I fell down twice after having my op, luckily once in hospital and once when my bf was there. Being honest with you about your children, I definatly couldn’t have looked after anyone else for at least the first 2-3days as its hard enough to just get up yourself and you sleep ALOT…I feel really bad for you now! Can you get some help?xx
HEY Kerry! I’ve had a look through your experiance with mya.. i must say Congratulation and i wish u all the best….reading your story has calmed me down, i have my breast agumentation on the 22nd of july.. i must admit as the day gets closer i’m gettting ova nervous as i’ve neva had any sort of surgery. Keep me posted how u feeling and what u think of how they look. i was told by my sergeon that i don’t have to wear a support bra only if i go out. sum surgeons are not fussy on wearing a support bra becuase its less painfull. tek care x
Glad things went well for you Kerry, It makes me feel so much better reading these stories, I’ve 2 weeks and 3 days until ‘D’ Day at Doncaster with Mr Kazazzi. I’m having mixed emotions of excitement and thinking ‘what am I doing’ at the moment, I just want it over with!! I’m having 455cc unders which he says will take me from a 32a/b to a 32d hopefully.
Keep us up to date with your progress and take care.

Hi Kerry
Thanks for posting your story, and congrats on your new boobies
I’m now booked for 19th August with Mr Adamo at Highgate

xx

Hi (princess)
I dont have any pic’s as yet as im still taped up like a mummy… the bandages are off on Thursday so hopefully it won’t be long before i can share my before & after’s, not really sure what the safest option is though.. I obviously don’t want them broadcasting!! hehe
Kerry xx
hi kerry…hahaha, i know what u mean, i would wanna share mine too but maybe not tooooooooooo publically, i will give u my email address if u wanted to share them but if not dont worry at all, its totally understandable, the fact that u shared ur story has been helpful enough! good luck on thursday, i hope ur boobies are everything u wanted them to be! im sure ull be pleased!
Well my dressing is off!!! Yay!! It was pure heaven!!! I was a bit disappointed to be told no bath until Tuesday…. Grr!!
I have to say i can’t stop looking at my boob’s in the mirror – I can’t believe they are mine!! Im wearing a 36E sports bra which i only bought ‘just in case’!! Not sure how much swelling ive left to lose but im normally a 34 back….At least it wont rub!!
Apart from the bra resembling a hammock (not very flattering!) everything is going brilliantly… My left boob has already started to drop slightly – The nurse said because im right handed the right one could take slightly longer due to it being aggrivated (poor spelling i know!)…
Kerry xx

Hi Fiona
Great story!
I have also been advised on 380cc and wanted to know what size its taken you upto? Im currently a full C cup yet wear D cup bras so im worried that il end up top heavy!
x
hi fiona,
Im 4 days post op and i feel like a balloon! Ive taken some movicol and had just one ‘movement’ in the last week! How long does that last for?? I have the antibiotics for 3 more days and have stopped taking the co codamol now, im just on nurofen. Also did you feel like other parts of your body swelled up too like your ribs and waist? or do you think thats bruising? I may be paranoid lol
xx
Hi girls
Thanks for your comments
Estefany – Good luck with your BA, you’ll be fine, the anaesthetic is really nothing to worry about, just the smallest prick of the needle and you be asleep in seconds, really quite a nice feeling. The anaethetist will discuss this with you before the op and you’ll have chance to discuss your fears and any family history/problems or if you have any allergies to anything, they’ll put you at ease.
Miss Manace – I was a 32a/b and 380cc has taken me up to a 32D, I’m hoping they won’t reduce in size
I’m 5ft 8, 9st 7, between 10/12 hips and was size 8/10 top. The theory is that around 125cc-150cc is the equivalent to roughly a cup size. Do you have a lot of breast tissue at the top of your boobs? What dress size, height, weight are you?
Bec86 – Hope you’re feeling okay after your op, my boobs felt massive for a while but thankfully now they’ve settled to a more manageable size! You’ll find that nurofen will also stop you from going to the loo. I’m still not back to normal but better than I was, think its because I’m not as active as usual so my digestive system slows down, but taking painkillers or nurofen doesn’t help! Try eating some fruit and maybe try some senokot, take that before you go to bed and hopefully by the morning things will start moving – know its uncomfortable!!! Yeah I did swell up around my rib cage but that’s your body’s natural defence after having an op. I can imagine the instruments they use will cause bruising around your rib cage. Once the swelling goes down the bruising comes out which is what I’m finding now. I’m 10 days post op and where they couldn’t get the canula in my hand there is now a big blue bruise – its taken that long to come out! In a few days time your swelling will go and you will probably find that you are quite sore and bruised where you least expect it!

Fiona
Im your exact measurements. With me currently being a full C cup, Im just worried they will look too big! I have been offered 300cc / 340cc / 380cc and have been advised to go for the 380cc. To be honest there was very little difference in the 340/380cc but nothing would be worse than looking like Jordan lol. My boobs are very round already and I have alot of breast tissue at the top. I want them to look really natural!
Did you have overs/unders?
x
my boobies have hardly gone down at all really. if anything i think theyre bigger haha! and im 10days post op.
my only swelling is on my ribs really so i have been wearing a bigger back size bra than normal.
other than that mine look and feel fine. high up tho!
xx
oh wow, i hope mine dont get any smaller!! same, i could feel some soreness on my ribs but no where else. I have been reading up on other people stories saying that they’re upset their boobs are smaller than expected and im worried that will happen with mine. as long as they stay this size, im happy!! xx
haha yeah i wouldnt want mine to be any smaller but if anything i think theyve grown since my op! (my boyfriend thinks so too) also when they drop a bit and settle i think they usually look a bit bigger then even though the volumes the same.
how are you doin today?
did you have overs or unders? what size etc were you/are you? and what implants pleeeeeease!
xx
ooohh hope they dont go smaller
i went for 340cc unders – was too scared the 380cc would of looked too big on me, although now i think i should of gone bigger. im wearing a 32d sports bra and they are def filling it. I have my post op with the nurse on Fri- does she remove the stitches?
mine are alot less painfull today -everyday they seem to be less painfull and uncomfortable, I am finding it hard sleeping though. I cant sleep raised, i always end up totally flat.lol. how are you finding it?
also, hav you got any bruising?? i have on little area on the top of my boob thats like a green bruise.. it doesnt hurt or anything and isnt hard when i touch it xx
i expect they gave you dissolvable stitches love so theyll be long gone by now! no pain. the nurse will just take the dressings off and probably replace them. she’ll let you have a look at the inscision sights too.
i got my boobs measured yesterday and theyre a 32DD or E!!!! i laughed and thought she must have it wrong but i tried on some bras after and the DDs were too small haha!

Hello.
Im a full C cup and have been advised to go to a 380cc also. I was told to buy a DD and E sized sports bra! The E size incase of any swelling.
Hope this helps
x
hi Tracey, good question becuase i had my BA on tuesday – havnt yet seen my scars but would like to know how long they take to go down! btw, how swollen were your boobs (if any)? and how long did it take for the swelling to go down? xx
hey girlies. your scars rate of healing will depend on loads of things such as skin tone, sun xposure, neatnss of stitches and your bodies natural healing abilities.
they will never ‘disappear’ completely though. remember they are deep inscisions, not exactly a scratch.
could take up to a year to fully heal.
remember to eat well, you can put vitamin E on them and keep them out of the sun, all this will help.
happy healing!

Hi Keira
mine didn’t go down much, when i first had them done it hurt my nipples more than anything they went huge
but everythings settled and the look so natural its ace.
My scars are mint they are only about 2cms long and really straight i was just wondering how long until they sort of blend in a little bit more with my skin tone

hiya. almost same measurments to me, i had 380cc implants partially under the muscle 10 days ago. i am about a 34/32d at the moment! hope this helps. your surgeon should giv you a good range of implants to chose from at your consultation.

hi there my surgeon has almost refused to go bigger than a 315cc implant, i was not at all happy with this and have managed to get him to agree to a 335, but my prefrence was a 360, the same as my friend had only last week, im a bit dissapointed as he wont try for me, but im booked in now, at first he only wanted to put in a 200 and odd size, and i point blank refused, iv told him im not wanting to go no smaller then the 335 but would prefer the 360, fingers crossed im booked in for a couple of weeks time xx
thre will be a good reason your surgeon wont put a bigger implant in. trust him. he knows more than you. 360 is a BIG implant if you are very flat to start with. your better off having smaller more natural looking boobs than huge ones that look stuck on and stretch your skin too much. which surgeon are you having?
xx
hey lisa, im in a similar situation as you!
im a 34aa/ (small) a, im 5ft 11 and weigh about 10stone, wear size 8-10. my surgeon mr traynor offered me the 300, 340 and 380 cc which would bring me to a full C/ small D. i decided to go with the 380cc overs when i met him a few ago. but after thinking about it, i was worried that i would be paying all this money and going through a loada pain, to be unhappy about my size. so i rang my pc, and she said she would order the 410cc aswell and my surgeon will decided on the day of my op if he’ll use them or not. but its not looking hopeful to be honest! my pc thinks he might not be able to fit them in my chest, so ill probs have to settle for the 380cc which im not really that happy about cuz id like to be a full D! on the other hand, i dont wana come out at the end of it all with a chest like victoria beckhams! hers are horrendous! so maybe the smaller ones would be better lol! 11 days to go! eek!
sarah xx
hi thanks for that, im going to get in touch and try for the 360, i dont want to be paying all this money and not been happy with my result, if he cant do it then thats fine i would just like him to agree to try, i was quite upset with what he was trying to have me put in lol,,
i know how u feel lisa! ive read sooo many comments on here about how many women are unhappy with their size! and i really dont want to be one of them!!
i mean, how did the celebs like jordan and mariah carey get such large implants? cuz their boobs were def no where near that big before their ops?!!
Hey lisa, sarah
I was a 32a, 5’5, 9 stone and size 8 before. Mr traynor offered me 300 340 and 380, but said he might struggle with the 380. Did you look at the implants that you wanted? Only because when i saw the 380 i was put off immediatly as they were huge on me!! I think it all depends on frame as well because if you’re like me and only have a small waist (24inch) then your surgeon will take that into account. I went for the 340cc Im only 5 days post op but tried a bra on y’day and it was a 34dd, i think i’ll settle to be a 32c/32d! xx
there is only so big that you can go depending on how much room there is for the implant. ask the surgeon to take you to as big as you can go, you dont want to push it as you are at more risk of complications. my pc at mya told me about jordans (one of their surgeons mr sing did them) and she had to have a couple of ops before she could get that big, it wasnt done at once. you defo want to get your moneys worth but also get a good result. i wouldnt get too hung up on cup size either. i am 8 weeks post op and i got measured last week as a c at one shop and a dd at another. as long as they are look big enough and in proprtiton with your body then thats all that matters xxxxx
YES DEF BE SURE!!!

hi all im new at this and ive just booked myself for a consultaion, im 23years old and ive had a child, i was neva big in the first place and im even smaller now! im a 32a and im soooooo looking forward to get new boobs!! but i see you guys saying 300 0r 360 i dont get what that means? can you help me understand ? i want to go to a c cup im a very small frame size 6 and only 5ft3 i dont want a b cause it wont look any diff im always wereing fillets in my bra and i think its about time i get the real things lol, would a c cup look ok on me or is that to small?
sarahxxxxxxx
It may be worth bearing in mind also that Jordan started out as a c cup so she did have fair size natural boobs so alot more tissue to work with. I’m sure the surgeon will take you as big as he possibly can as far as your body allows, trust him hun x
hi bec86! i am similar stats to you! was worried about how a D would look whether it would be too big, how do they look now are you pleased with them? do you have any pictures and if so would you mind sharing them x
Hi bec86
I am 5ft 2 and a 6-8 with 22inch waist. I asked my consultant for d/dd I am a 30B at the moment and although I have room for a big size he said no to a DD cup. I didnt want the vic Beck look either just full boobs! So he recommened 380cc over and said I would be around a D. I am now hoping these wont be too big but I told him my expectations and I think you need to trust your surgeon. They know your limitations and it is different for everyone.
I have my BA due Wednesday
Hope this helps! xx
hiya,i am 34b mr kazzazi offred me 410 unders which wud of made me 34d but he said 460s wud look much better which will make 34dd.i am goin ahead with the bigger ones as i trust he knows what hes talken about.
hope this helps
