Due to COVID-19 we are dealing with unprecedented circumstances and the impact is significant, from operation movements, to a reduction in the number of available staff, the whole way that MYA is currently operating is not typical. Even the simplest of business activity is much more complicated than usual and all processes are taking much longer. Please can I advise all MYA patients NOT to shower until their nurse advises so. It is very important not to get your incisions and dressings wet during the first couple of weeks. Run yourself a shallow bath or use a flannel or wipes to wash your upper body. Love MYA mod xx

We have two hospitals that we operate from, London Fitzroy and First Trust in Preston. You can be consulted at the Cardiff clinic but your procedure would have to be done at one of our hospitals.

Is anyone having their procedure done at London Fitzroy that would be happy to take part in a Channel 4 documentary?
We have been contacted by a documentary crew that would like to film with a MYA patient for a channel 4 documentary with the award winning actress Kathy Burke.
The documentary will be an empowering exploration into Womanhood in 2018, talking to women in the UK delving into their experiences and stories of being a woman in 2018. This is not going to be a negative portrayal of cosmetic surgery- we understand that for many women cosmetic surgery is a valid choice that leads to a rise In levels of self-esteem, improving their lives immeasurably. Also, Kathy has no issues with cosmetic surgery. She says on camera that if it had been accessible when she was younger, she would have considered it.
