I had a second meeting with my surgeon as I was uncertain of the size I went for. I wanted to be 100%. He was happy to see me again. I arranged it through my PC. Glad I did as it put my mind and rear knowing I made the right decision x

Hun you won’t be able to drive after. You’re not allowed to due to the general anaesthetic. You shouldn’t drive 2 weeks after the op either. I was collected by my boyfriend and there us not way I could have drive if I was allowed to. I was a day case. Might be different if you’re staying overnight but again they tell you not to drive for 2 weeks as the implants could move. They even told me not to risk getting a train. Not sure how much your cab will be but think about how much your spending on the op versus how much you wouldn’t want to ruin you recovery and new boobs. You will need a chaperone when you leave. I didn’t need one when I arrived xx

@madmamato5 I also lost my mum 6 years ago. I inherited her small chest lol. My mum and dad split when I was young so me and dad are like best mates. He had an ex girlfriend who had a boob job. I emailed him and told him. We email and text a lot. I wasn’t going to tell him but I needed his help with my daughter post op and to drive me places. He hates my tattoos though but didn’t seem phased by the boobs.
I’m sure you’ll be fine telling him. Pick the right time. Maybe not tomorrow on fathers day lol. All dad/daughter relationships as different so I guess only you really know the best way to handle it xx

I don’t have a personal experience but if you went to your GP I’m sure they would give you a note if you’re not fit for work still x

I think it’s about 12 weeks when we see the surgeon again. 6 is the nurse. My 6 week appointment is next week so not sure what happens x

I’ve been advised to wear my sports bra day and night for 6 weeks. Then at my 6 week check they’ll tell me if I can wear a normal bra. I didn’t ask about bra-less. Maybe your PC can advise you? I wouldn’t suggest not wearing one though until your 6 week check xx

I was a day case and took them off when I left the hospital. Well, I kept them on in the car til I got home. Sod having to wear them for 2 days! Weird how weird told different things! x

I’ve got 425cc HP partials. Add me to see my pics if you want hun. I went for 425cc when my PC said the difference is a shot glass of gel. So not much different at all when you think about it. Glad I went for 425cc. So happy! xx

Hi hun. I have pics of mine after a week on my profile. You’re prob still really swollen. My stitches are dissolvable ones. I wouldn’t worry hun. You still got so my healing left to do. Still early days. If you’re still unhappy though you must raise it with your PC xx

@becky234 Hun I totally understand. My partner took the day of my op off to pick me up. I went on my own. He had our daughter. He went back to work the next day. I had help from his mum the day after and a bit the day after but that was it. I’ve struggled. He only helped me when I was almost in tears with pain. I haven’t rested like I should. The house is a shit tip as he’s done nothing. I’m still struggling. Only 2 weeks post op. I’ve been washing clothes, tidying, feeding baby, putting her to bed. I’ve not hoovered but think I’m going to have to as it’s been 2 weeks and he’s not bothered! Sorry, rant over! xx

@emilysmith I had 425cc and was a 34b. My op was 2 weeks ago. My swelling deems to have gone down a lot now. I have pics on my profile. I get some sharp pains but I’m sure it’s pretty normal as we’ve got new nerves being pressed on by the implants and a lot of stretching and stuff going on. Dropping can take a few weeks I believe. I’ve been quite fortunate with this so not sure. My left is slightly higher than my right but not massively noticeable. Hope this has helped a bit?? Please don’t worry x

I’ve had my nipple piercings out for over a year and can still get a bar in them when I’m in the shower xx

@amylaceyx I seem to have more pain on my right than left. I think this is pretty normal as they are two seperately procedures so will have 2 seperately healing processes.

Check what meds you’re on. Some antibiotics can make you feel very sick xx

@jemma10 They will talk you all through the process. The nurse will ask similar questions as at your first consultation. Ask about your medical history. She’ll take your blood pressure. She’ll take some photos too. I can’t remember it all now to be honest and mine was only a month ago doh! Have a think of things you might want to know about the procedure, recovery etc.

Cocodamol does crazy things to your guys! Try and get off them and take paracetamol. Reckon that could be causing your bloatiness. Messed me up in all sorts of ways! x x

@aybevans To be honest I’m not concerned. The nurse yesterday was really please with how I’m healing. I don’t think it’s an issue. Just think of how much they had to stretch our skin to get the gel in! It’s likely to be a bit bigger at one end. Actually, I don’t want to think about it lol! Urrgh! You ok? Please don’t worry xx

You’ll be ok to drink but at my 1 week post op check the nurse said no swimming pools, baths, Jacuzzis etc. Hope this doesn’t scupper the actual spa or treatments you might have. I’d just be careful as you don’t want an infection. Have a lovely time. I’m jealous lol xx

I’m more uncomfortable than I was before my strapping was taken off yesterday. I wouldn’t panic. It could be that your dropping? See how you go though. If you’re really worried give the nurse a call. Hope you’re ok xx

I had my op at Fitzroy but all my appointments have been in Chelmsford as I live in Essex. How have you managed not to pick your kids up?! I’m a week today but didn’t have anyone to take me to the clinic so going tomorrow. I’m super squished!! xx

I’ve seriously overdone it today with my daughter. I’ve had to carry her, wind her. Just had an hour and a half battle to get the to nap. Not everyone has help at home. I’m a bit upset about it but what can I do? I hope I’ve not delayed my recovery or messed up the placement of the implants. My incisions feel itchy and I also have to keep moving my sports bra. I’m not sure I’m in the correct size to be honest. I’m going to speak to the nurse tomorrow. What clinic are you with? x

A day before is pretty poor as a lot of us have to organise travel, childcare etc. In hindsight I would not have gone with MYA after my dreadful experience (prior to my op re my history of depression). I felt like I paid a lot of money and did all the chasing of GPs etc myself! I just hope my post op is what I expect to receive.

I wouldn’t worry too much hun as you’ve only got one more day to go. My strapping is starting to peel off. I’ve had to have a scratch here and there as it’s so itchy!! The anaesthetist was so kind. I wasn’t particularly worried about the GA. Like said above you’ll feel a cold tingle up your arm and then you wake up with new boobs! I didn’t even have time to think about it to be honest. They’re all so lovely and professional. I was sick afterwards in the car on the way home lol but this doesn’t happen to everyone. I’m quite a sick person (travel sick, sick bug sick, hangover sick lol, pregnancy sick) so I was probably just unlucky. Focus on the reason for the GA not the GA itself. You’ll be fine hun. It’s natural to feel anxious but please don’t worry xx

I have no idea either. I’m going to email my PC tomorrow and ask the nurse on Weds. I’m only a few days post op and believe the tighter the better albeit really uncomfortable! x

I’m the same. Hate not being able to cuddle my 9 month old. Getting fed up I can’t do things. Can’t bear not driving and having to rely on people. I lost a stone and a half after having my baby and before boobs. I’m weighing another half a stone now. I just hope it’s the swelling! The implants can’t weigh that much surely?! The codeine bunged me up too so just taking paracetamol now xx
