Thanks hun. I love my boobs and so glad I got them done but it was after that I started putting the weight on. Doesn’t matter now though cos what’s done is done and I’ve stopped betting myself up over it and started taking some action. I’ve gone on a healthy diet with minimal carbs and exercising 5 hours a week and drinking loads of water. I feel great and in the first week I lost 9cm from my waist hips and leg and 5lbs, then the second week I lost another 9cm and 3lb so im getting there. I just don’t wanna have paid all that money out for my boobs to go weird haha. I don’t plan on going super skinny or anything, I’m currently a size 12-14 and wanna go back to a 10-12. Well done on your weight loss too, bet you are really happy 🙂 xx

I had to have a re op and I had Mr Traynor both times. I had to have the re op as I was very asymmetrical pre op and still had a noticeable asymmetry post op so had my left one done again. I have to admit even though I knew it wasn’t really his fault (even I was shocked about what was needed to make them even!) I was still nervous having the same surgeon again. But then weirdly I didn’t want anyone else either?! Lol. Anyway I’m sooooo happy with my final results and definitely glad I went with Mr T, he is a legend! Lots of luck ladies, it’s not easy having to have a re op but at least you are getting the treatment and service you need and deserve, and you’ll get the result you want in the end xx

Hi sassyd123 I am pleased with the results. I had a re op because I had a big asymmetry pre op and post op it was still there so I just had a re op on one of my boobs. Second time round was a lot easier, except for the meds which made me feel horrendous! To be honest they aren’t completely equal now but they were completely different shape as well as size pre op so they were never going to look identical but they are a million times better than before and look really good! I think from my surgeon agreeing it was about 2-3 weeks for head office to agree and provide me with dates and then I had it about 3 weeks after that. Could have had it in under two weeks but my boyfriend couldn’t get the time off work x

I do these classes hun and you will be fine. I hate cardio just in the gym too and love the classes but I just did the gym for a few weeks to get myself used to it again and then went back to classes at about 12 weeks. I won’t lie, it does feel odd to begin with and sometimes you will ache so just listen to your body and only do what you feel comfortable with. After a few weeks I felt back to normal again but i always found it easier to do morning classes as I didn’t ache as much, probably cos I hadn’t been using my arms all day. When I started back at body attack the constant arms above my head hurt a bit so I just eased that bit back in gradually and did the rest. Good luck for your op x

Good luck hun, Mr T is awesome! He’s given me the boobs I’ve always wanted! I’d say go for the bigger ones too, there’s not much in it and I can guarantee you the boob greed will kick in, especially if you go for the smaller size! I was absolutely petrified of going too big and only decided on the day to go the biggest he offered me for the size I wanted. Sooo glad I did cos I know I would have been disappointed with anything smaller. Also don’t worry about cup size cos it really is true that fake measure bigger than they look. I’m an E/F cup now but look about a DD which is what I wanted xx

Yeah it really did! Ive had such a bad body image all my life and always hated the way I look, especially my boobs, last night was just amazing!! I wasn’t shovin them in anyone’s faces or anything but I had a lovely drape dress on which showed them off nicely without being too revealing. I had 415 and 605 high profile soft touch overs from an a/b cup and now an e/f cup x

You can’t swim or expose your scars to sun for 6 weeks hun. Even after that you have to put factor 50 on your scars and you can’t put any lotions on til you have your 6 week check xx

Yeah ive got my Macom on, might change to my sports bra and see of it makes a difference. I think the ache is making my back tense up which is making it worse. Thanks hun xx

Wasn’t nearly as bad the second time apart from the meds, my body seems to hate antibiotics, just my luck! Lol. Who was your surgeon hun? Mine was Mr Traynor and he is amazing, such a perfectionist. I’ve worked it out like this, say there’s an average of 10 ba’s per day across all the hospitals, that makes 1400 a year but I’ll say 1000 just in case thats a bit much. In the last year and a half I have been on the forum I have seen no more than about 10 ladies having re ops so that’s 1% of cases. I know a lot have seemed to happen the last few weeks but like I say try not to worry! The way I see it is Mya is a great company with great surgeons who care abut the result they give their patients. I’m sure there’s lots of companies who would have sent me on my way but that’s what sets them apart! So basically the odds of you having to have a re op are really really low, but if by some small chance everything doesnt go exactly as it should then at least you know it will be sorted. I am so glad I had my ba even with having to have it twice lol and I am very glad I went with Mya xx

Massive congratulations on your recovery hun, you sound like you are doing amazingly well! Don’t worry about wait gain and no gym cos its all perfectly manageable. I had my original op last October and I put on over half a stone but that was my own fault for sitting on my bum for 6 weeks and stuffing my face lol. I had to have a re op on 20/06/12 and I was so worried it would happen again but I told myself before hand I would be managing my food much better, watching my calorie intake and keeping active with walking. I’m nearly two weeks post op now and I’ve actually lost weight! It sounds like you’ve got a great plan with your mum and you will be absolutely fine! Go and get your new boobs off Mr T, he is amazing, you won’t regret it xx

Mine properly softened after about 3 months the first time hun, although they do get softer every day. This time it was soft after two days! As for getting your feeling back underneath I’m 7.5 months post op from my original op and I still haven’t got all my feeling back underneath, starting to think I won’t cos I had no feeling at all at first but the rest came back in the first couple of weeks. Doesn’t really bother me that much except moments like now when my boob is itching but I can’t feel where to scratch it?!?! Weird! Lol. How you getting on? Xx

I’ve not even been taking pain killers, just the antibiotics making me feel yucky! I had a bad reaction to them last time is asked for a different kind and ended up with a worse reaction! Just my luck! Lol. Can’t wait to have a good nights sleep and a shower in the morning xx

Yeah I can’t wait til they are all settled again and I’m sooo glad I went through with the revision. I’ve been drinkin 2.5 litres of water for the last couple of days and it’s really helped. After all my moaning this morning I feel miles better tonight! Got my 1 week check tomorrow so hopefully I’ll be able to shower and stop sleeping upright and then I will feel tonnes better again xx

Yeah it definely has for me. I think feeling sorry for myself and wallowing was making me feel physically worse! I debated going bigger overall but then decided I was happy with the size of my bigger one. I measure an F cup now from a b/c before and now that my smaller one has been re done I think it actually makes them both look bigger and I should be able to get a good cleavage! I had 415 and 485 high profile soft touch overs originally and then the 485 was replaced with 605 so it was quite a difference. Think I had one a cup boob and one b/c boob pre op. You are still early days hun, I got massive boob greed but mine grew at 3 months and again at 6 months so be patient and you’ll have a great pair! What size did you have? Xx

I had revision surgery last weds due to my remaining asymmetry and the whole process was pretty easy to be honest hun. Just go and see our surgeon and explain why you aren’t happy.

3 days of antibiotics? You lucky lady! I’m on 7 days! It doesnt sound like you’ve had it that easy either though hun. With bras I think it’s just a case of shopping around a bit. I love my macom but I did go through a phase of hating it last time, but I hated all bras as they were so uncomfy. This time has been much easier boob wise, minimal pain, no bruising, no heavy squashed feeling and already going soft. I’ve not lost any more feeling and im not overly sensitive like last time so fingers crossed it stays that way! Maybe have a trip out and try a few more on to see what fits right xx

Aww Amanda sounds like you’re having a mega rubbish time of it too! I think I could cope with most if it, it’s just the dizzy and sick feeling I can’t handle. My friend is coming round to take me out for a bit of fresh air today so hopefully that will make me feel a bit better. At least you can rest easy knowing that you’re ok after going to a&e but what a rubbish time to be ladies week! I am too which is making everything worse only mine has been ladies fortnight cos I have the implant in my arm and u don’t have a period for months en in get one that lasts forever! Thinking long term will get us through and I do love my boobies! Sending you lots of hugs back hunny and you’re right that did make me smile lol xx

Yeah they are pretty stretchy Laura so 34 should be ok and there’s 2 sets of fastenings on the front so you can have it a bit tighter or looser depending on how you want it.

Yeah the two nurses came n and put my macom on for me last night, just make sure you have it on before you go. Once I was asked I slept better than I thought I would, only woke up twice, once cos I’d rolled onto my side and the other when the nurses came t check on me. Was wide awake by 5 though xx
