yea twinges and a few pains are normal but this is an obvious sharp pain that does not go away like the other normal ones do.

In reply to: unders or overs for thin women?

    Menu

Hi, I also had the choice of overs or under, I decided to go for unders as I think they look slightly more natural if u have less breast tissue to start with. From photos I have seen the there is little difference, under to me look smoother. Under will be a little more recovery time and u loose upper body strength for a bit, but if your getting cut open and spending all your money what’s a little extra pain?

I can still get a good cleavage out of mine. Love them to bits 🙂 google both photos in the size u want and compare them would be my advice and go with the look you like best 🙂

In reply to: Need help please"!!!!

    Menu

What size are u looking for? I’m not the same stats as you but I had 380 unders and that pushed me from 32a to 32dd, so I would guess you will get at least a DD out of them choices 🙂

I have pressed the upload button, and it sends me to the patient stories after. Do you Pre read then before as this could be why I can’t see my story up loaded? It is quite a long one too lol!

Hi MYAMod, I just tried to upload a story, can’t seem to find it though 🙁

In reply to: PO 32b ladies???

    Menu

Hey I was 32 a size 10, I had 380 unders over a year ago now. Depending what shop I go in I am now 32dd in marks and Spenser, and 32 e/f in la Senza ( there bras come up smaller and different styles means you have to try them on to get the right fit)

I love my boobs now, they do not look out of proportion at all. I have not got photos to show you unfortunately but trust me, they look good haha!

In reply to: HELP!!!! please xx

    Menu

I had the same problem, my mum works as a nurse in surgery and has always told me you shouldn’t have operations unless you need it.

In the end I was honest with her, as she could give me good/bad advice and she surprised me on how supportive she was. Women in my family also have big chests but she was like “I understand why you want one as I don’t think you are as confident as you try to let on to people”

My sister on the other hand though it was a bad idea, when I explained my reasons she just felt bad that I wanted to change myself and I should have been happy with what I was given. (again she has big boobs)

My mum decided to tell my dad, coz she didn’t want to drive me to London on her own. He didn’t say much, made a few Barbie/boob/silocone jokes but that was about it.

My advice would be sit her down for a grown up chat, then she will know you are serious and explain your reasons how you current boobs make you feel etc. and show her how much research you have done. You never know she may surprise you like mine did 🙂

In reply to: pole dancing / backbends

    Menu

I was an intermediate pole dancer when I had mine done over a year ago now, but because I only did a week session before the break, after the break I decided to go back to basic for a bit to re-build strength. I had quite a lot of time off the gym/pole as I paid a lot of money for my boobs didn’t want to ruin them!

however my pole teacher also had a BA over the xmas break last year after me, she was back on the pole after 6 weeks no problems and back to her high standard of performance.

I think it depends how good you are to start with to how quick you get back onto the pole, I could have gone back to me normal class thinking back now but was worried I was going to ruin my boobs lol! Sort of wish now I got back on the pole sooner as I am behind girls in my original classes now!

I loved my tesco high impact bras, still wear them in bed sometimes a year later for a bit of support.

Never liked my Macom bra. Sold it on eBay!

I have heard Botox can help, but I think I’ll end up looking like the joker from batman!

It’s normally the photos where I’m in the background or don’t know there is a camera I look moody, and I’m not haha!

In reply to: currently researching, keeping it a secret and need advice.

    Menu

I knew as a teen I wanted my boobs done. I always said if they don’t grow from 32a by 18 I was getting a BA. Friends always thought I was joking, and I made a joke of the situation but deep down I hated my triangle figure.

Took me till I was 26 to pluck up the courage, a year later I love them! I went from 32a to 32dd / e and I will never look back. I always had bottom and hips was just missing top curves, and I now have the hour glass figure I dreamed of.

I think if you have always wanted it, you always will want it till you get it. I wish I had mine down when I was younger now, maybe not at 18 but at 20 I would have been able to afford it better.

As long as you are doing this for you, and no one else its worth talking to Mya about your options. 🙂

My fella was like “u spent money on that more fool u, wantch Darron brown explain it all” so watched it on 4OD. Bit skeptical after watching.

Have u seen ur GP? If the nurse says its strapping that’s more than likely the case but get it checked out just encase its nasty

In reply to: weird shape boobs and big gap!! 🙁 please tell me they'll change!

    Menu

Yea I remember all this, I was worried they would be huh and coned snapped for ever but they do settle its very early days for you!

The best feeling for me was when I showed my best friend at 4 days PO, and her not having the greatest poker face said it all. Then about 3 months later another friend asked to see them when the best friend was also in the room, and she was gobsmacked by the change! She was like “omg they look well good now! I was worried they botched ur boobs up before but didn’t want to say anything!” haha!

Trust me you won’t regret you BA. Nearly a year since my op and I love love love my boobs!

In reply to: Anyone who has had unders please read!

    Menu

Everyone is diffrent, I didn’t find the unders bad at all, more achy. I stopped taking pain killers after two days as the co-dryamol was making me feel sick. Just took bruphen from tesco now and again.

    :-) you will b fine

What sports bra u wearing? Try wearing a high impact bra with lots of support when running as they do wobble alot! if its still there contact your pc.

I had mine done start of last October and was told no sports until after xmas (being a military girl this did not go down well when I had to do my fitness test!)

In reply to: SPORTS BRA HELP! PLZ READ! X

    Menu

If its just for the boob job tesco high impact I found were the best, even over MaCom (which I didn’t like at all). For sports after the op I got high impact m and s and the lady in the shop tole me that if you take the back straps off and cross them over u get extra support :-) no bouncy boobs when running at all! (thou its made me notice my bottom wobble more!)

Ice braces? Never heard of these but will google them :-) are they like train track braces? How long do u have them for?

Cheers everyone for all your replys :-)

Oh yea just read that… Boo!

Have u spoke to you GP? I sometimes get funny feelings in my boobs (last October too) like a sharp pain. But it’s nothing that concerns me. If ur worried speak to your GP and they can advise u further :-)

Yea my mate pointed me to MYA for my op, and she was advised by a friend before. So we all got discounts. but I know MYA are a bit hot on u using friend from the forum so make sure it’s a friend you know :-)

In reply to: Off topic, teeth questions!

    Menu

I know a few people that have the same problem. Me and a friend are looking at getting this done together.

Bethy once u have veneers can u take them off? (obv by the dentist) Or will you always have to have them now and replace them?

I would book an appointment with your GP. They can have a look, clean it up and let u know if it’s infected or anything. It will save u trouble of going back (travel etc.) to MYA and if they can’t help they can point u in that direction. I work in a med centre and I know we would see you for that :-).

I would see your regular gp, they will be able to clean it up for u and tell u if it’s infected or anything. Don’t travel if u don’t have to :-)

In reply to: Off topic, teeth questions!

    Menu

Yea my teeth are ok, but I’m proper funny with teeth as they were so horrible as a child! How much did u pay for invisalign? And do they give u a retainer to wear at night or anything? Think this is where I went wrong as a stubborn teen lol!

I thought he was fab, I had my op last November and took my mum with me. She works in surgery and she was very impressed with him too, very old school and man of few words but he knows his stuff :-). I wanted tear drop boobs and he was very blunt in saying they would nt suit me (I got hips!) I’m glad I listened and got hp ciu. your in good hands I love my boobs!!

Regarding bras i found tesco’s high impact ones the best, still wear them when I’m sobbing in my jim jams :-) I hod no problem with the fasting at the back at all. I wasn’t impressed with MaCom bras, didn’t feel like they supported as well so sold them on eBay.

    Hope this helps :-)

My boyfriend was really supportive and came to my consults with me (bless). It was funny watching him play with the implants in the office and mr kazzazi assuming he was paying for them! He was more than happy with my boobs before the op, and still loves them now encouraging me to get em out when ever the opportunity comes along asking why I wasn’t showing them off on the beach on holiday!

In reply to: Girlies always go for the biggest they offer you xx

    Menu

Sorry but I don’t agree. I was offered 380-410 and took 380. Glad I did as I think 410 would have been too big. Depends what look you go for as I love my boobs to bits and that was the right decision for me.

What pain killers you taking? Codeine based (co-codamol co-dyhydramol etc) can make you feel spaced out xx

In reply to: Sore scars please help!!

    Menu

I took the antibiotics the first week, and a few pain killers but that was it. My mum is a nurse so I made her check every day lol! It’s natural to worry about infection coz it’s a big thing and your right to be cautious.

The main signs of infection I look for with patients is puss, more reddness than expected, hot to touch and in worse case feeling sick and fever. if you have any of these signs I would visit your local surgery with the nurse, they are good with wounds :-) it’s best to be safe and get it sorted than suffer in the long run.

In reply to: Has a anybody had the 10 year guarantee??

    Menu

I only got the 10 year. But I wish I had asked what happens if mya goes bust? Do I keep guarantee or does it go down the drain? Just ask yourself if you could afford another op in the future as you will eventually need one if it’s 5/10/15 years away.

In reply to: Sore scars please help!!

    Menu

Mine were red and sore too, i was also worried but they were fine. be careful though, Is there any discharge seeping from the wound? Do they feel unusually hot, and is the redness just on the scar, or has it started to blemish around the scar? If in doubt call the nurse in the morning to make n appointment or even to your local clinic or chemist for advice. Hope everything goes ok

In reply to: off boobie topic

    Menu

I have a few friends that have them and they all love them. I really want that invisaligne, I had braces as a kid and had them bleached. I’m very fussy with my teeth and want them to be perfect!!!

In reply to: Post Op Quiz!

What size were you pre op? 32a

What size are you now? 32 e-f (la sensor)

Type of implant? 380 mhp under ciu

How long did you go before you…

had a shower? Day 8 (after post op appointment)

slept on your side? Day 4/5, naughty!

had sex? 3/4 weeks (fella lives away)

stopped taking painkillers? Day 2 apart from ibuprofen for swelling

    went back to work? 2weeks

wore a wired bra? Not yet, only 4 weeks post op
